The measurements were WAY off. It looked like it was quarter teaspoon of salt, sugar. A third of a teaspoon of black pepper. Quarter teaspoon of soy sauce, NOT 1 tablespoon. 1 tablespoon is approx. 3 teaspoon. And that was about 2 to 2 1/2 cups of oil. I'm not pointing these things out to be a jerk, I just want to point this out just incase people want to try this recipe.
i'm sorry, but the fact that you're literally soaking that food up in oil... almost about to have a heart attack just by looking at it. there are so many other ways to eat healthier!!!
@hobosmile2 There is no credible link between eating saturated fat and heart disease. The science just isnt there. Its the polyunsaturated fats in vegitable oil that you want to stay away from.
@JenkemBOMBS Yes being overweight is a risk factor for heart disease. However eating saturated animal fat does not cause heart disease. Too many people have been fooled into thinking saturated fat is bad. Our bodies in fact can not live without it. The brain requires fat to function plain and simple.
Hey Kai. What is the skinny white veggies you put in the Egg mixture? I didn't catch the name of what they are. Is it onions? It is on the plate at the beginning of the video.

Ok...'A' for the video attempt...but, a few details: In the west, we call this an OMLETTE, which should NEVER get sugar...(which I noticed from the other, 'squirrel jerky' video, you put garlic and sugar in most of your recipes)...and, instead of preparing it in such fashion...if you would use 1-tablespoon real butter and a frying pan (less sugar and oil, at least), you would find a very pleasant taste...also, any chance you could prepare your ingredients before filming? Saves time...
BTW, if you use: mushrooms, olives (black and green), onions, green peppers, black pepper, salt, minced bananna peppers, garden tomato, and a touch of oregano...mix and cook in frying pan with real butter, then prior to finishing, lay down a cover of swiss and american cheese, then fold once (while hot) before serving...you will find a great alternative omlette
@mountaindweller44 why dont u make your own video? hes just showing us how he does it, and over in the EAST thats how they do it, not everyone is the same
wth? u needa measure those "tsp" and "tbsp" u put a quarter of a tsp of salt and a half of tbsp of soy sauce im only giving 5/5 cuz ur asian and so am i, but really, tbsp is alot more man
he can only taste OIL !! the ingredient were perfect but the fry concept...well not so right...if i were him stir fry the garlic and bacon first till the aroma out..put in chop mini tomato..then bean sprout and coriander..finally scrambled eggs..IT TASTE BETTER !!
i tried this a while back and mines turned out REALLY REALLY oily and nasty. i guess i still like egg foo young at restaurants better then my own. hahah
yea i agree, but i think he was trying to imitate a fryer? title says "deep fried". almost like french fries or any other fried dishes. still though, lots of oil used...
This is a good. I also added some baby oysters and a bit of fake crabmeats because I love seafood. I hate the spouts so I didn't add it. Overall, good job!!!
@TheBBallEnthusiast The recipe is for deep fried eggs. I'm not saying I would eat it, but people freaking out over someone deep frying eggs, as stated, seems odd. The guy seems to like it, much of the oil is left in the pan after he fried it, and you can adjust the recipe if it is something you wanted to try. Still, he gave a recipe to do just what the video titles states, deep fry eggs.
i've eaten this except with green onions and eggs only which takes really good and then there is another spicy one which has something called kim chi in it
tip for anyone that watches this. If your finding your centers still raw cause your heat was to high, You should boil the veggies you use 1st(sprouts etc.) then put it in and mix it. This will insure everything is cooked and the heat will help blend in the salts and stuff.(thats how my dads resturant does it, its been open 10 years)
If you're like most people nowadays, you're trying to eat lighter, healthier fooods.Fortunately, the basic principles of Thai & Lao cooking are already very healthful
Yeah, once again i was watching COD Videos.... an then... i end up here.

Really, let me explain the science of it to you.
If your fat, your at a increased risk for heart disease, thats a undeniable fact.
Abusing foods high in saturated fat, will eventually make you fat.
Simple enough right?

Respond to this video... Do a search for "cholesterol myth" in google. You will find some eye opening and possibly life changing information.
