saw them touring with sleigh bells. it was the worst opener of my life. more power to anyone that likes them. we are the 99% that doesn't enjoy liturgy.. and i like some black metal! this is shit metal :P
@FuckCopyrightClaims There are a ton of bands that use polyrhythms. And I realize that black metal is repetitive considering it's one of my favorite genres of music, but there's a difference between hypnotic repetitive and boring repetitive.
Does anyone have anything substantial to say about this band? So far, I'm hearing a lot about clothes, a lot about interviews, a lot about labels. Do you people care about music or not?
@thejesman I enjoy it because I haven't heard this kind of thing before. Maybe it helps than I've never watched an interview with them or seen what they look like. It's not really black metal, but it's interesting. I might buy this.
Ok thats like the 1000000 comment ive read about these guys being douche bags in interviews.... Time to find out just how douche baggish these guys are.......
I wish they'd stop with the talk about bm and stop trying to come across like stereotype American rockstars in their interviews. That and pay less attention to their hairstyles... Then we'd be able to listen to music like thus without feeling sullied by it.
@crosboid Yeah, they need to pay less attention to their hairstyles. BRB, spending 2 hours dressing up like a medieval wizard and painting upside down crosses on my face.

Well, this music is actually pretty good. I guess im just going to ignore the fact that they and their fanbase are pretentious hipster scum.

Black metal or not black metal, this is really annoying. The repetition and weak vocals make it worse.

Idk, it doesn't sound like black metal to me but that doesn't mean it isn't great.
