Is there a technical reason for that set up?
it probably makes the dust look more spherical and out of focus, hes in the dark using an ir, cant see the dust with naked eye, but he sees them on his screen illuminated, dont think he does it like that anymore and its now even more obviously dust :)
To be fair to Stan ... his orbs show a preferred alignment .. there is a flux in a certain direction and then it may well change. Reminds me of scenes of the Titanic wreckage re: flotsam floating in the moderate deep ocean currents.

I would care to see someone recreate this particular footage. Stan used to twirl a towel about - there would be a definite delay before "orb onset" .. not in keeping with "standard dust dynamics".
to be expected if stan opens a window, and a door at the end of the room, then there will be a direction, they also follow the direction he walks in, just like mine do, but left to their own devices they will just take random paths according to static and subtle draught, i also noticed different kinds of dust produce varying effects, however his saturation of orbs at the start, and gradual decrease at 4 mins does show conclusively that hes exciting dust b4 he films
all ccd cams are NIR sensitive .. some have a NIR block in the optical train .. NIR although colorless - affects color rendering - hence the metallized filter which cuts out just the NIR. To cut out the VIs (and oper. strctly in NIR) place a 3 1/2" floppy disk mat'l in the optical path. If you have both filters in-line .. camera will effectively be blind .. some light gets through as the filters are not 100% efficient..
Some questions, are you using a similar "infrared" camara ? Can you visually see the "dust" you are filming? How can you tell you are not filming the same anomaly as stan, whether it be dust or not? And the BIGG whooper...do you realize that dust does not have sufficient mass to carry the heat signature to show up on an infrared or near-infrared camera? Just some things to ponder.
objects do not need a heat signature to reflect ir light back into a camera my friend you are confusing this with thermal imaging. stans vids are all donr in the dark he uses an ir illuminator and his cam can see ir light, nothing perplexing here, no im using a normal cam but it does see ir light.

My team and I have walked through woods, mud, creeks, went into houses that look like the floors are falling in. Sweated our butts off, frozen our noses off, and tried to research the places we are going. I go through the video, photo's and audio very carefully. Sometimes we are lucky enough to get something unexplainable, most times not. You have to be able to back up what you present as paranormal.
There is one video clip that I went over for a week or so, trying to find an explaination for. Was very hesitant about posting it. yeh id like to go there and film for an evening, trouble is its a road ghost that seems to only appear to motorists who arent paying attention, so i presume to have any chance of a sighting youd have to spend the night speeding up n down :) id probably crash if that blebell ghost appeared to me like the stories tell
