  • What it´s the pronunciation of "sh", a mix with a "s" and a "ch"?

  • Pronunciation of "sh" should be the same as the English "sh". For example "show"="sho+u/しょう".

    You are correct! The usage in your comment is seen currently in Japanese elementary schools.

    BUT the standard is the hepburn style, which is what I use my videos. It is used from middle school on up to the university level and businesses. (ex. passports and street signs use the hepburn style)

    You can also see combinations of different styles of romaji (usually meaning the users get a bit mixed up), so it would be good to know that different styles exist.

  • "Cha", "Chu", and "Cho" always confuse me. Some people say "Tya", "Tyu" and "tyo":S
