  • Terrible video. Muffled sound. Fantastic song. Thanks for posting!!! Sits in my record collection.

  • shiiiit

  • id give anything for a good ol girl that loves this ( around my age 23 ) lol

  • @killuminati63 A lot of women like UFO even if they are not heavy rock fans. Just play the right songs.

  • Oh man, these are really the most popular releases yet! The actual russian govt actually unclassified 3 hundred documents! Check them out at ufosecretXnet (replace X with . )

  • FIND THE LYRICS @ EasyLyrics . org/?artist=Ufo&title=Lonely+Heart

  • I never would have had an appreciation for the Europeon rock bands, hadn't i'd been stationed in Germany in the 80's and glad I did...

  • The Wild, The Wiling, And The Innocent is their best post Schenker album. I saw them on the Mechanix tour in '82 and was hoping they'd play songs from it. They did.

  • magufo1, I agree on Mechanix, but I would replace no place to run with Making Contact...

  • thats a good one too....(Diesel in the Dust

    )

  • gave you an awesome

  • @queenhunter2009 led zepelin no more

  • buenisimo !!!

  • Loved this whole album! brings back great memories!

  • Phil, Pete, Paul, Paul, and Andy. One of my favorite lineups!

  • wat the fucking hell

  • As much as I am a fan of Schenker,I've always liked the Paul Chapman UFO albums the best. All of the post-Schenker/Tonka lineups of UFO doesn't quite cut it for me.

  • This was also a great lineup of UFO was fortunite enough to see them open for ozzy on mechanix tour me and my buds didn't realise they were going to be that good they blew us away

  • Saw the same show in Wichita, Ks. but UFO was plagued with bad sound that night.

  • I must say again that even though the Schenker era represents the legacy of the band to the hard rock world, The Wild the Willing and the Innocent LP is one of my favorits. PChapman gave the band some sort of "English taste" that fitted precisely in the UFO sound. This song proove this statement.

  • English taste... ha. You could be right, but better not tell Paul that Cardiff's been moved into England tho...

    :-)

  • So, apologizes to Paul... I didn't know that. Then, congratulations to the best guitar player from Wales.

  • I've seen it before but I since changed accounts, must add to my favs and VOTE AGAIN! hahaha Love Paul with his Biches!

  • Actually, Mr. Chapman borrowed a Bich or two from someone else, as I recall him stating on his PChapman . com website some time back

  • so...mushypucker.......i suppose ac/dc should have left the bagpipes out of "long way to the top" then.... according to your logic.... jesus......

  • i just love this song cause its like, wow hes still singing about those heartbreakers haha

  • The best album from this band, awesome song!

  • i do hate the sax makes it sound 2 cheesy but cudnt imagin this song wiv out it 2bh

  • Sax was just something Neil Carter could add, something he also knew how to play

  • I love Schenker era UFO, but having said that the wild, the willing and the innocent, in My opinion, is Their most mature work, obsession being the other. Very underated album.

  • I agree 100%.

  • One of the underrated bands from the early "heavy metal" era. Leppard, Maiden, Saxon and Priest owe these guys a huge debt.

These guys were metal before there was metal. I haven't heard a bad tune from these guys yet.

These guys DO NOT get a decent shake on US Classic Rock stations.

  • DAMN RIGHT, MY FRIEND!!!

  • why was the studio version of this song removed from the site? i had it on my favourites & its been removed. sound quality of this is shite!

  • I always thought UFO were one of the best hard rock acts ever. The stuff after Schenker was great also!!!!

  • Are you serious? For me, UFO are all about the songs. Yes, Mogg was a good singer, and Schenker (in his prime) was an outstanding guitarist, as best demonstrated on Strangers in the Night. But what keeps bringing me back to that album, even after nearly 30 years of playing it, is the quality of the songs. Just outstanding.

  • Mate, you're kidding, surely? This'un, Anyday, Profession of Violence, Love to Love, Lights Out, I'm a Loser, Pack It Up...jeez, just about any album with Schenker and/or Tonka is packed with classics.

  • yuh. the average mogg song is probably better than ninety nine percent of all "rock and roll." but while mogg's songs are "very good," those of phil lynott (and ray davies, mick farren, steve van zandt, and a few others) are capable of achieving a kind of transcendent "excellence" that moggie is only very rarely able to reach. when compared with the VERY best of rock and roll, phil mogg's songs generally come up a little bit short...............

  • i think mogg and schenker (and mogg and tonka), by virtue of their style and professionalism, are able to "put over" songs that would otherwise seem pedestrian. what we respond to when we listen to ufo is their TALENT, not the quality of the songs PER SE. and i think that it's for this reason that they never did become "superstars" in the broader pop world.....................

  • Well, I maintain that the quality of a hell of a lot of the Schenker/Tonka period numbers was incredibly high, so we'll agree to disagree, friend.

  • @jonbecker03 get a clue. moog hit it perfect almost every time he wrote about being lonely. which he wrote about LOTS.recheck their catalogue....rockbottom,lonelyheart,out in the streets,i could go on and on.....

  • pete way is my grandad

  • This is incredible, never saw it before. The Wild The Willing And The Innocent is my favorite post-Schenker UFO album. Saw them live in April '82 on the Mechanix tour but they played saveral songs from WWI. Chapman and Carter were great for the band.

  • VERY GOOD SONG!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • Great to see this again. Unlike most of my buddies I bought No Place to Run and Wild Willing Innocent. I loved em. Paul and Neil brought great material out of UFO. I'll never forget that Sax sole in Chicago on the WWI tour. It was not only very different. it was great

  • that gibson hollowbody that neils playing actually belongs to phil , ive played it b4 at his house, great guitar , is a lot smaller then it seems , neils not very big

  • THE BEST! regardless! from one of their best lp/cds too. You do great coming up with this! (wonder if it's possible to obtain this personally anywhere?) thanx again

  • i think paul chapman is the greatest of all time hes just the best dad ever.... if anyone has any more videos of him i would love to see them i was s young at the time when he hit the big time that i love seeing vids of him!

  • The wild, the willing and the innocent was a fine album. Obviously Paul "Tonka" Chapman didn't have Schenker's abilities, but he had a style that fit right in with UFO's sound at the time. UFO with Chapman was far better than MSG.

  • paul is only guitarist who can be i ufo if not michael what a joke fucking vinnie moore bollocks i refuse to listen to them with vinnie n especially the horrid remakes in the showtime stuff omg blasphemy

  • British TV - Top of the Pops circa 1981. I have this poster LOL

  • Yeah, I had this poster to. I bought it in late 81. Those were the days!!!

  • Was this from "Making Contact"?

  • The Wild, The Willing and The Innocent :-)

  • @tretre462 I just downloaded this albom on i-tunes !!! Great album !!

  • @tretre462 I just downloaded this albom on i-tunes !!! Great album !!

Ohh..and I'm flying to Vegas from Buffalo a day early to see UFO on Sept 23rd !!!!

  • I was surprised to see this video on here. I love this song. I agree with LBjim - TWTWTI is a great album. I think it was underrated because Michael didn't play on it, so people immediately didn't like it.

  • Never seen this video. I knew it was out there. I love this era of UFO. It seem they expanded musically. The sax on this song surprised me, but it fit well. TWTWTI is a great LP..OUT!

  • Back to when UFO ruled the world, with or without Schenker. Paul Chapman rocks!
