@anapaulaho Here's a better idea. All the moronic students who protested, get together and write a thorough, detailed, specific business plan for Cal to follow over the next 10 years. Include details on infrastructure maintenance and investment, revenue and disbursements, insurance, and every other cost and credit that they have to deal with. Then submit your revised 10-year solution that fits with the State's budget to the Univ President and the other decision makers for review and comment.

I love how he jokingly asks people for volunteers like he doesn't want to do the job. Then why doesn't he quit or get out of his contract?
Oh right! Because he gets paid $800,000 a year plus a free home in the Oakland Hills, health insurance, etc. etc. etc. etc!
The system works-- for him. No one else. He inherited this mess, but he's making it bigger.
