I think most people don't understand that 1. this is a tutorial, and 2. The Busoni and Tausig transcriptions are different. I don't know if there are any more transcriptions out there (I sort of made up some stuff up in my version) but I think you should post a video at normal speed. That will stop some of the mean comments.
p.s.- I may change the way I play the Toccata after watching your video :)
You guys, just shut-up. She is a very talented person. The difference between you all and her is simply this, You ALL are dumb. She, on the other hand, is a retired Trigenometry teacher and is smarter than probably anyone of us.. So, again. just shut-up.
Thanks for the video, bbdhrggl. Once again, a GREAT tutorial.
@MrPianist101 It is sweet that you are defending her, after all, she is kind enough to put a tutorial on here for nothing in return. However, assessing the intelligence of other people based upon negative things they may say on the internet goes somewhat to show that you are not fit to make an assessment in regards to intelligence in the first place.
Interesting!! I didn't know that! So, this is the piano version! But one thing i for real: the way you play this piece is more difficult than the organ version, the original.
I have to say I'm really thankfull for this tutorial. I'm really thankfull for all of your tutorials by the way. You shouldn't care about those negative coments you got on this video, in my point of view they are simple mediocre. Unfortunaly, like most people, all they do is complain and do nothing constructive. They should be greatful for having someone like you who has the kind of posting great tutorials, at least for me and I belive for alot of people, they have been fantastic. Thank you.
@AlsatianCousin care to look at the score? it is free on imslp.org.
To all those who say this tutorial is incorrect. Do you think there is only one score, the one you use? Bach wrote this for organ, not piano. Hence, all piano scores are arrangements. The ones by Tausig and Busoni are the two performed on concert stages. Enough said. More critiques and I'll happily remove this from public view.
@AlsatianCousin why did you remove your comment? @bbdhrggl - If you get probably the three most famous opening notes in the western music history wrong in your "tutorial", and then attack any critcism you seriously need a reality check mate. Your comment was just absurd,, "do you think there is only one score, the one you use?" Umm... yeah the one Bach wrote??
Sorry what I explained is beyond your understanding :)
Many thanks for your efforts. You make it so much easier for me to play it from the score sheet now that i can pencil on it the notes. I learned the basics of Moonlight sonata from you. Could you perhaps at your convenience publish a tutorial on busoni's toccata arrangement please? Thanks again, you're very helpful to me and i believe to lots of other people.
super
thanks !!

Now for those who did all the ridiculous coments; I sincere think you all should learn more about music. You have no idea what music is.
