  • Finally YES Baltimore would have takin the Browns name and rolled with it. When the news broke Baltimore fans showed up at the anouncement wearing Browns gear with the name Cleveland crossed out. Yet they claimed they never wanted the name from the beginning. They simply changed their tune when they saw the back lash the move was getting nationally. God if there is any justice in the world that damn team will move to LA. I would laugh so hard my gut would split open.

  • I hope Modell rots in hell forever. If and when he tried to go to the HOF I hope the boos are so loud no one can even hear.

  • You Baltimore fans are trying your best to justify your hypocrisy but no-one out side of Baltimore is buying it. You have blood on your hands and should have just owned up to it. Instead you spit in the face of Cleveland (the victim) and try to make a hero out of a POS like Modell. All you had to do was say "Modell is an ass for what he did. We don't agree with how it went down but the team is here now so we'll suport it." Instead you will tell in lie and change history so you don't look bad.

  • I can't post the link so here is the title of the artical for the 1996 Baltimore Sun

"Deal clears NFL path to Baltimore"

  • Art Modell did not leave the name and history because he's a great guy. It was part of a deal to that Cleveland would drop it's law suits against Modell (he had 3 years left on his lease) and let him leave for Baltiwhore and he had to leave the the Browns identity in Cleveland in return. Here's an artical from your news paper back in 1996 before the Baltimore history revision started.

  • The Colts were LAST in the league in attendance. Yet they claim to have been such great fans. The City of Baltimore would not build Irsay a stadium (keep in mind how these hypocrites love to bring up the stadium issue in Cleveland, but totally ignore their own). They say they didn't know the Colts were moving, yet they were taking leagle action to take Irsays team through eminent domain. How can you take leagle action against something you didn't know was going to happen?

  • @hoban24 People didn't want to support Irsay b/c he was a drunken POS who constantly shopped the franchise to other cities after he bought the team. He never had any intention of staying in Baltimore and the fans knew that. The Colts could have been 1st in attendance and it wouldn't have mattered.

  • @hoban24 Leagle action???? wtf is that, i think you mean legal**** action you uneducated fool.

  • Facts:

    1) Art modell was offered the same deal the Indians and Cavs got and he turned it down.

    2) Modell asked that the old stadium be up graded. The funding was passed to do so and he still moved.

    3) Baltimore loves to point out that Irsay said he would never move the Colts, BUT THEY TOTALLY IGNORE THE FACT THAT MODELL SAID THE SAME THING SEVERAL TIMES. "AS LONG AS I OWN THE BROWNS THEY WILL BE IN CLEVELAND"

  • another sad thing about what's gonna happen to Baltimore is they'll loose

the Ravens for the same reason. I THINK IT WILL HAPPEN IN 2028!!!!!

  • why are browns fans fans of the browns when their real team is in baltimore? doesnt make sense to me

  • Thought it was real hypocritical of Baltimore to steal another city's team after what they went through with th Colts. Should have tried their hand at expansion before breaking Cleveland's heart. Classless move.

  • @copraiders1 We had tried expansion. Taglibue pretty much gave us the finger and said: Go build a museum with that money. WE DIDN'T STEAL NOTHING!

  • @CaptainCapital8 It sure didn't feel that way to Browns fans. Its one thing to steal a team whose fans never show up, like in LA with the Rams, but Browns fans were loyal, as were Baltimore fans. Baltimore didn't deserve to lose the Colts, Cleveland didn't deserve to lose the Browns. Baltimore should have tried expansion again before they did what Irsay did all over. Real hypocritical.

  • @copraiders1 Baltimore was denied an expansion team while Jacksonville was granted one (What a Joke). Irsay promised to support and rally behind Baltimore's effort to field an expansion team which never happened. Instead we supported a CFL team and USFL team during the 12 year absence of NFL football. I would really like to see what Cleveland would have done had they not been awarded an expansion team in a short 3 years. Btw Modell supported and rallied for an expansion Cleveland Browns team.

  • I miss memorial stadium...

  • you know what you fucking ravens and FUCKIN ART MODELL CAN KISS MY ASS WHE DONT MISS HIM

  • RAVENS FOREVER!!

  • the ravens should've been an expansion team, the football fans of northeast ohio got screwed by this move...cleveland would've had a superbowl title if it wasn't for art modell...

  • baltimore should've been the expansion team, not saying they didn't deserve a team, because they're a big city and with close proximity to dc and philadelphia...for that reason it would've been smarter to add them to the nfc east and move arizona to the west in 1996....

  • Didnt they come to Baltimore after the success of the Boltimore Stalions of the CFL?

  • @CptCanuck00 yes.

  • @marquanmr fuck you.

  • fuck everybody in this video

  • noccioline buoneeeeee

  • Fucking lowlife hypocrites!

  • @TheOHbuckeyeIO crybaby

  • @saveusfrom1983 Guess that makes you Baltimorons hypocrites AND cry babies, considering you still bitch and moan about your beloved Colts moving, yet you had no problem accepting the REAL Browns and Art Modell. Just remember, it wasn't known that Cleveland would keep the name and history until AFTER Modell and Baltimoron signed the agreement to move the team. Plus, we only kept our name and history because we sued the hell out of Modell until he had no choice but to relinquish it.

  • @TheOHbuckeyeIO

I thought you guys only kept the name, because you paid Art Modell so much for it. Oh well it prolly cost you guys an arm and a leg to take the issue to court anyways.

  • @tedkissel Go troll somewhere else.

  • @jh23454

Just remember one thing Art Modell is no different then Bob Irsay and your team's VL trophy is absolutely no more stolen from the city of Cleveland then the Colts horse shoe is from Baltimore!!!!!

  • @tedkissel lol how was it stolen. Cleveland had MONTHS to stop the move while Baltimore was backstabbed by an alcoholic fucker in the cover of darkness. Get your facts right before you get embarrassed.

  • @jh23454

1.Your trophy is stolen because had the Browns stayed in Cleveland they everything would have happened the way it did and you guys won that trophy with the owner of the REAL Cleveland Browns, 2 of their players, and their front office your team has yet to give back to the city of Cleveland.

2.The city of Cleveland offered to re-model their stadium (something your city did not offer to do for Bob Irsay when he moved the Colts).

  • @jh23454

    Post cont.

And Art Modell just signed for the Browns to move to Baltimore and take their name and history with them with out telling anyone and no ones permission except his own to avoid his move being blocked by the cities of Washington DC and Cleveland. Then just to be an asshole Art Modell purposely gave the city of Cleveland a shitty team with a shitty owner and his idiot son behind everyones back.

  • @jh23454

    Post cont.

Plus the only reason the Browns have their name back is because either the city of Cleveland payed Modell at least what the Irsay's wanted from your city for the horse shoe to keep the Browns name or spent a ton of money taking the issue to court, your city had absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH MODELL CHANGING HIS TEAM'S NAME!!! I'd say Modell is just as big of a double crossing back stabber as Bob Irsay, so stop fucking trying to get him in the NFL HOF!!!!!!!

  • @tedkissel You are so misinformed it is funny. Irsay went on air and said he wasn't going to move the team, but he still did. Cleveland new what was coming while Baltimore didn't. At least Cleveland got a team back. Irsay just ignored Baltimore. Also, what sense does it make for Indy's team name to be about horse racing? Cleveland wasn't loyal to the Browns until they found out they were leaving. Baltimore was loyal for 12 years, even after they were backstabbed by the league twice.

  • @jh23454

1.Art Modell did sign for the Browns to move but NOT MOVE the Browns behind everyones back (small difference) just look it up. That's just the way moves happen all owners who move their teams are the same none of them even deserve a playoff win.

2.The city of Cleveland was told by I believe Art Modell's son that they would keep the Browns before that double crossing back stabber Art Modell signed for them to move without telling anyone and no ones permission except his own!!!

  • @jh23454

3.The city of Cleveland got their team back even though the city of Baltimore had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, but because of Art Modell they also got the biggest joke in the NFL next to maybe (big maybe) the Detroit Lions that will never amount to anything since he claimed the Lerners would be such good owners to the city of Cleveland knowing they would never amount to anything.

  • @jh23454

4.The city of Indianapolis loves ALL TYPES OF RACING they just don't have any big horse races yet, because gambling on horse races was legalized less then 5 years ago.

5.The city of Cleveland wasn't loyal to the Browns because Art Modell was such a huge asshole to them and the same goes for Baltimore with the Colts in the 1980's. And as far as I'm concerned the city of Cleveland was backstabbed 3 times by Modell!!!!!

  • @tedkissel 1. Are you a browns fan or a Colts fan?

2.Try to summarize what your saying and don't make 3+ paragraphs

3.That joke eventually won a superbowl with a city that cared about them. How many games have the Browns sold out compared to the Ravens?

4.Indy having the Colts as there name is like a team from Mexico being called the Blizzard or something similar. Watch ESPN's 30 for 30 THe Band That Would Never Die.

  • @jh23454

1.I'm not telling you because you A Baltimoron hypocrite people like you are bad for the NFL.

2.That joke didn't win the superbowl, the REAL Cleveland Browns won the superbowl. The REAL Cleveland Browns were clearly not a joke.

3.I will never watch a documentary about a bunch of Baltimoron hypocrites winning about their team being gone. That documentary should be about which team is more stolen between the Colts and Browns and at the end should have both teams come out even.

  • @tedkissel Even if they were still the Browns, do you really think those draft picks would have had the success that they had in Baltimore? Football takes more than just good players, it takes good coaches too!

  • @jh23454

Oh yeah BTW, the expansion Browns that suck ass because of your savior Art Modell have sold out all their games in a similar stadium to the Ravens. So I guess who has sold more tickets b/t the shitty expansion Browns and the Ravens depends on who has the bigger stadium.

  • @jh23454

Oh yeah Indy having the Colts name is not like Medico being called a Blizzard, people in Indy love all types of racing that quote sounds like the words of a true Baltimoron hypocrite. And like I said earlier the city of Indianapolis doesn't have a big horse race yet because the used to have such strict laws on gambling. Plus tons and tons of people from Indy and the state of Indiana go to the Kentucky Derby every single year.

  • @tedkissel Here you go again with the 3 paragraphs. How am I being a hypocrite. Every Baltimore sports team name has something to do with the city. Want me to explain it a will. Also, people in Mexico probably like blizzards too. So your statement lacks any sense. Maryland had strick laaws on gambling as well. They are building the first casino ever in Maryland. Ray Lewis was the MVP, so he had something to do with the superbowl win. Also, you calling me a hypocrite is making you one.

  • @jh23454

1.Your being a hypocrite by calling the Colts stolen and asking why your team's trophy isn't anymore stolen.

2.all the professional sports team names in Indianapolis all have tons of hariatage with the city of Indianapolis. The city of Indianapolis take just as much pride about their team names having to do with their states heritage as you people in Baltimore do.

  • @jh23454

    3. I understand Maryland has strict laws on gambling few states don't, but since the beginning of times the have still allowed people to gamble on horse races plus up until this decade Indiana wouldn't allow any gambling of any type in the state you can't say that about very many states because allot of them like Maryland and Kentucky have always allowed only gambling on horse races.

  • @jh23454

4.Ray Lewis was also drafted by the REAL Cleveland Browns front office just like everyone else on his team, so suck it.

5.How is me calling you a hypocrite making me one I never said anything was stolen, I just said your team's front office and SB Trophy were no more stolen from the city of Cleveland then the Colts horse shoe is from Baltimore.

  • @tedkissel The trophy wasn't literally stolen like the horseshoe. Plus, it isn't like the Browns were the first team to move out of a city. You could compare it to the New York Yankees being stolen from Baltimore ( Yankees used to be the Baltimore Orioles during the late 19th century). Also, there is basically only 2 ways to get a team, through expansion or movement.

  • @jh23454

Yes it was, if the REAL Browns had stayed in Cleveland everything would have happened the way it did and you guys won that trophy with the REAL Cleveland Browns front office, owner and 2 of their players you cannot say that about the Colts second VL trophy.

  • @tedkissel

Oh yeah btw, you can't compare the Yankees/first generation O's or the STL Browns being stolen to the REAL Cleveland Browns. Because first off neither one of those team owners left their old cities with a team that would totally suck ass and never amount to anything like Art Modell did.

  • @tedkissel

Secondly the REAL Cleveland Browns were moved with a back stabbing by Art Modell signing for them to move to Baltimore behind everyones back. The STL Browns moved because no one cared about them and everyone wanted to see the Cardinals and the first generation O's moved because they went bankrupt (that was then this is now, now very few cities can support multiple pro sports teams, back them more cities like STL could support multiple sports teams).

  • @jh23454

Now if you want to compare the Pistons move to Detroit to the Browns and Colts moves that is an entirely different story all 3 of those moves are very similar.

  • @tedkissel People began to care about the Brown right before they left. Also, it is all about the buisness. The Browns moved to Baltimore, a city who would care alot more than Cleveland. As I said before, at least the Browns got a team back unlike Baltimore. Now, lets end this soon, I'm tired of reading 4 paragraphs and having to respond.

  • @jh23454

1.You city had absolutely nothing to do with the Browns getting their colors back plus the Cleveland fans didn't not attend Browns games because the team was bad, they didn't attend them because Art Modell was such an asshole to the city of Cleveland. As soon as your team starts sucking for 10 years as bad as the Browns do and sells out all their games like the shitty Browns do now I'll be convinced your city cares more about football but until then as far as I'm

  • @jh23454

    Post cont.

As far as I'm concerned Browns fans are more die hard to football but that still doesn't mean Ravens fans can prove them wrong if their team sucks as bad as the Browns have for 10 years.

2.You can say the same thing about Indy, when the Colts moved to Indianapolis it was about bigger business too. The Colts had the lowest attendance when they were in Baltimore in the 1980's.

  • @tedkissel the browns are kinda like the lions. they were both good teams back in the 50s and 60s, both had good runningbacks, never been to a superbowl. and now they really havent done much.

  • @lionsravensfan01

Yeah but the expansion browns were created to be a bad team the Lions were not and that is why the Lions look better next season on paper but you are right both teams are very similar.

  • @jh23454

Oh yeah btw here's another thing you left out about the Browns move that was also true of the Colts move, Modell wanted to move his team from Cleveland to Baltimore because Baltimore was closer to his home town in Brooklyn and Irsay also wanted to move the Colts to Indy so he could be closer to his home in Chicago. (Just thought I should have made those 2 points) :)

  • @saveusfrom1983

Dude if anyone is a crybaby here it's Baltimoron hypocrites like you who think the Colts are stolen and insist your team and their VL trophy are not.

  • @TheOHbuckeyeIO you mad brah?

  • the guy that said everybodies talkin about the colts and they can stay there kinda looked like john harbaugh lmao

  • roo

  • dfl

  • I was there

  • glad to know i was around for this and their start.
