I was there. His voice on this was just phenomenal.. it was like liquid crystal. I knew he'd be better in person than what I've seen on tv and video, but he soooo exceeded even my expectations. The power of his voice, the moves, the presence.. the man is pure magic!

I think the one thing to remember is that each artist has their own creative license to do the song in their own styling. And that is what Adam is about. The bigger plus is that the song ends up sounding fantastic. One of my favorite singers of all time, Linda Ronstadt, did fantastic covers. And whenever it is fit, these artists keep the song original. It depends upon how they want the song to be 'out there'. I think Adam is great entertainment. I am tired of some of the stuff out there. CHANGE!

I agree with you wholeheartedly! Adam infuses every song with his unique artistry, which I think is an affirmation of his talent. I think his ability to vary each performance ever so slightly keeps us sitting expectantly on the edge of our seats for the next musical journey. I'm with you on hearing something new and different...which is exactly what Adam brings to the stage!

I think he does better than Muse. All of his covers are better than the originals. His voice is phenomenal.

I wouldn't say he's better than Robert Plant on WLL, but I do love his version just as much, and his Starlight does surpass Bellamy's IMO (love Bellamy too, though).

It is VERY VERY hard to beat Adam's performance skills.

Sigh. I'm also a die hard Zep fan. I have something like 150 led zep concert recordings and have heard them all. So I know exactly what you're saying. I think Plant has a style that's inimitable but I prefer Adam's voice and do prefer his version of WLL (other than the fact it's lacking Jimmy Page's guitar)
