wow i just figured this out! the whole thing is in E minor. i've been playing guitar for about 11 years and have just recently started learning proper theory. luckily E minor was one of the first scales i learned and now its got me wondering what the hell i was waiting for all these years haha

The chords progression is so evil in that one. I was first looking to play this with the white notes on the piano and then discover it was all along the black notes. This made it pretty uninstinctive on the guitar. I wonder if Frizzi choose this scale for aestethic reason or he's maybe just really evil !

I think it is in Eb minor. And keep in mind, keyboardists are more likely to compose in the richer sounding flat key signatures.

Yikes... This theme has always chilled me, but with that unrelenting guitar riff providing the back beat it just sounds that much more eerie and unrelenting. - Which of course was the appeal of the central theme. It complimented the nature of the zombies. Bravo man. This is more than cinema-worthy IMO.
