The version I like the best - we all have personal reasons for the choice! The guitar intro (instead of sing-song) is intriguing, the girl-boy backgound vocals contribute to a trancendent harmonny in the parts "of my baby", especially after the modulation. Heart-ripping! Perhaps there could have been less strings - there's quite a rocking band in the background anyway.

Dion and the Belmonts are the Original DooWop Group that Scored around the World during the late 50s from 54' to 72' or more! Dion is one of the best but he should keep singing the songs of the TOP artists of his time back in the 50s other than himself and a few that he wrote as well. :D Good Version

This is of course not Dion and The Belmonts, this was Dion as a solo after he left The Belmonts, these are girl and guy studio back up singers as can be clearly heard.
