  • great performance, i'm impressed. i'm a bassist and sing some Who songs too....i imagine though that this song would be nearly impossible to do both at once, ya think?

  • @Scotsquire Hi, thanks so much. I used to do the song live.... takes a bit of practice, but it can be done.

  • I think this kid is better than the other - much better rudiments. Very clean. But of course Keith....

  • you really have nailed on this one, very awesome job, by the way how much cost the buzzard bass??

  • @LFDX91 A buzzard one? Priceless! There are only 43 i think... in the world. It is something close to that anyway!

  • Something I've ALWAYS wanted to know. Is the Buzzard made COMPLETELY from graphite? Or is it just the neck thats made of graphite?

  • @DrPickleDickle First of all..... great name!!!! The B1 is made completely of graphite; the B2 is a graphite neck and wood body.

  • @garethnh LOL, thanks! You're an amazing Bassist (or bass guitarist as the Ox would say) and Altogether musician! Keep rock'n!

  • have you personally owned these basses?

  • @pumberdog Yep......

  • awesome job, this is my favorite Who song. Quadrophenia has got to be the greatest concept album ever!!!!

  • @SuperJewTV1 Agreed!

  • I love it! I love it!

  • Bloody Bloody Great.

And your voice works real well on that one. Keep on Kicking !

  • fantastic

  • @ve3vpc Cheers!

  • really really great. i think this is my favourite yet from who2.

  • @bjorkkody We thank you!

  • My Favourite Who song, by miles really well done!

Reminds me of the John Entwistle band version from woodstock 1999, and the 2000(?) Version from The Who at the royal albert hall,

can you play the bass solo form the 5:15 live version? I'd pay a good buck to see that, ;) keep up the great work guys!

  • @AttitudeCastle ah, just saw your video of the 5:15 style solo cover-ish thing

    i'm just amazed!

  • @AttitudeCastle Cheers!

  • brilliant!

    nice guys!

  • Awsome as always. How'd you get the drums recorded so well and mixed?

  • Thanks M.

Andy has his kit mic'd up, so he gets a really clean sound with no room ambience. He mixes the levels of the kit and then we put it all together.

  • what amp or pedals do you and Peter play through to get such great tone?

  • Am sure Pete will clue you in re: his sound.

I am using the B1 DI'd into the desk with the signal slighty in the red. Effects are an old Zoom effects unit!

  • Im using my Les Paul plugged into Guitar Rig 4 software and am on the Townshend Can't Explain setting. I also use a Boss overdrive pedal for any heavy bits.

  • Holy balls though, those are some AWESOME high notes.

  • Thanks.....

  • Yummy.

  • Ta!

  • cant wait to here more

this sounds just like the orginal

    Great job guys

  • Cheers D!

  • the guitar and drums sound like a 1970's WHO show with John's 2000 era bass.

i cant wait to hear to whole album like that.

  • @JesseTheRef Great comment. Yep, it should be interesting!

  • @modernsebastien Thanks Seb!

  • Wow, that was great!

  • @connergpc Thank you Conner.

  • Awsome as usual fellas. I love it!

  • @rsaathoff Cheers!

  • guitar player looks the part too...got some slick moves :-)

  • @dougm1971 Yep, he's got the Towser attitude alright!

  • gareth, all of you...this is superb, really enjoyed that.

  • @dougm1971 Thank you Doug!

  • i gues you saw the stage show like me

  • @servetakid Yep. Twice. I thought it was a really good adaptation. The band were really good.

  • PLus what happened to chris, your last drummer?

  • @DrBuggles1 Not been able to get hold of him for months - and Andy is a great drummer in his own right. Moonish yet really tight. Watch and listen to his bass drum work - fantastic! We are lucky to have him with us on the project.

  • I agree, but it's not the same without the same line up...besides have you ever thought of writing your own material?

  • @DrBuggles1 Ahhhh not the same no, but different isn't always worse - it could be better! The tracks we have already sound amazing - I can't wait for people to see and hear the results!

I have lots of material, I just need to stop recording Who songs... like that is gonna happen!!!! ;-)

  • I like:D Plus did you here about townshend not touring anymore?:/ Found out about it on my birthday:/

  • @DrBuggles1 Thanks. I heard, I think Pete will tour again myself, once he finds out how to best combat his tinnitus.

  • I do hope so, looking forward to floss and was hoping to see them again for the tour of the album
