great performance, i'm impressed. i'm a bassist and sing some Who songs too....i imagine though that this song would be nearly impossible to do both at once, ya think?
Im using my Les Paul plugged into Guitar Rig 4 software and am on the Townshend Can't Explain setting. I also use a Boss overdrive pedal for any heavy bits.
@DrBuggles1 Not been able to get hold of him for months - and Andy is a great drummer in his own right. Moonish yet really tight. Watch and listen to his bass drum work - fantastic! We are lucky to have him with us on the project.
@DrBuggles1 Ahhhh not the same no, but different isn't always worse - it could be better! The tracks we have already sound amazing - I can't wait for people to see and hear the results!
I have lots of material, I just need to stop recording Who songs... like that is gonna happen!!!! ;-)

@Scotsquire Hi, thanks so much. I used to do the song live.... takes a bit of practice, but it can be done.

I think this kid is better than the other - much better rudiments. Very clean. But of course Keith....

@LFDX91 A buzzard one? Priceless! There are only 43 i think... in the world. It is something close to that anyway!
AttitudeCastle 10 months ago
Something I've ALWAYS wanted to know. Is the Buzzard made COMPLETELY from graphite? Or is it just the neck thats made of graphite?
DrPickleDickle 1 year ago
@DrPickleDickle First of all..... great name!!!! The B1 is made completely of graphite; the B2 is a graphite neck and wood body.

My Favourite Who song, by miles really well done!
Reminds me of the John Entwistle band version from woodstock 1999, and the 2000(?) Version from The Who at the royal albert hall,
can you play the bass solo form the 5:15 live version? I'd pay a good buck to see that, ;) keep up the great work guys!
AttitudeCastle 1 year ago
@AttitudeCastle ah, just saw your video of the 5:15 style solo cover-ish thing
i'm just amazed!

Awsome as always. How'd you get the drums recorded so well and mixed?
Mantrasolo 2 years ago
Thanks M.
Andy has his kit mic'd up, so he gets a really clean sound with no room ambience. He mixes the levels of the kit and then we put it all together.
garethnh 2 years ago
what amp or pedals do you and Peter play through to get such great tone?
connergpc 2 years ago
Am sure Pete will clue you in re: his sound.
I am using the B1 DI'd into the desk with the signal slighty in the red. Effects are an old Zoom effects unit!

@DrBuggles1 Thanks. I heard, I think Pete will tour again myself, once he finds out how to best combat his tinnitus.
