It's so unfair to compare big city life ( San Francisco, tokyo) to Mongolian countryside. They should have compared city to city, apple to apple. Or if they wanna show countryside of Mongolia, how about Utah from U.S? Talk about stereotyping. Now everyone would assume we ( Mongolians) grew up like that.

See, I don't think so. I think that the point of this was to show four different babies in four totally different environments. The Nambian and the Mongolian babies are just supposed to show babies in more of a "developing country" setting. That's not to say that all parts of those countries are like that. We know that not all of Nambians still live like that and neither do all Mongolians. They are not trying to stereotype countries, just show life from all perspectives.

@marimekkoshka they re not trying to show how living in developed countries is better than in a developing country. they are showing the commonalities and differences in how people and babies are around the world not just because of culture, but also due to our own individual personalities. EMBRACE THE DIVERSITY!

I don't see how that's true. I don't think a baby in Wisconsin where I'm from is going to grow up like a kid from San Fran, so why would every Mongolian baby grow up the same way all around Mongolia.

@marimekkoshka i agree..they should have either compared only urban(city residing) families or only rural(country side) families..but having said that, who cares what ignorant people think? it's their loss if they think all mongolian babies grew up in the country side. anyway, there's nothing wrong with growing up in the country side..the mongolian landscape is stunning and growing up around animals and access to fresh air(away from the polluted cities) is a plus thing for any child.
