That would just dissolve it and render it ineffective. You mix some with olive oil, rub onto yourself, and then rinse. It also works wonderfully as a lip exfoliant if your lips are flaky and chapped. Just be gentle and make sure to moisturize IMMEDIATELY after rinsing the sugar off.
The video says "just add sugar to your bath" (Or words to that effect). Sugar in your bathwater can cause a yeast infection. That is what I was referring to. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I believe the "it" in that phrase was meant to refer to the olive oil and NOT to the bath water with olive oil in it.

(Whoa, run-on sentence of doom)
@melzio69 Au natural DOES save money, but you do still have to care for yourself and keep clean, and some of the ideas here are kinda helpful for that. Personally I don't feel clean unless I've exfoliated, and I find the olive oil and sugar trick very effective -- but you DO NOT put it in the bath like they imply in the video. And on the rare occasions that I do ware make up, I use petroleum jelly/olive oil to remove it after (I find olive oil works better than Vaseline though)

If you wash your hair too often or with a harsh shampoo that strips it of its natural oils, it will become even oilier. Using a warm-olive-oil treatment helps restore natural oils and moisture to your scalp making it less oily in the long run =D

Cosmetics are so overpriced in general, especially the higher end brands. $25 - $40 for 1 oz of foundation or $15 mascaras is ridiculous, especially since it costs very little for the companies to make those products. For the most part, you are paying for the brand name.
you know what ive found out, wal-mart has some very cute makeup. i recomend Rimmel pencil eyeliner. its cheap, and it goes on so smooth! and you can also find some good mascaras there too :D
