I really love this video, but it is so bittersweet to watch. It's so touching watching them interact. And it's so wonderful how much they clearly love and respect each other not just as mother/daughter but also as artists. I'm glad that Alia Rose had this great opportunity to perform with her mom. She can cherish those memories forever. It's so sad hearing Teena say "I'm about to get out of her way". Almost sounds as though she may have known that her life was drawing to a close.

@ROYGBlV Thanks for the correction regarding Alia's age. I knew she had to be about 18 or 19 because this performance is dated 2009. I didn't know she was born on Christmas Day. So she lost her mom on the day after her birthday/Christmas. How painful that must be. My heart definitely goes out to her. She will continue to be in my prayers.

I likes this duet with the wild and peaceful Lady T and her beautiful baby girl Ms.Alia Rose. Rest in peace Lady T and I know your little girl will carry the torch in your memory. When Lady T left us I guestioned God as to why he allowed things like to happen but that's an answer I don't think I will get this side of Heaven. It may be true that Ms.Rose won't last a day without her mom's love but I'm praying for this beautiful child. Yemanja be praised!!!

Her daughter Alia Rose should keep her mother's legacy alive for the rest of her life. Do your thing Alia stay stong and I know you would be alright. Alia would be a wonderful singer as well. They should do a scholarship or a foundation under her name to keep her memory alive. Rest in peace you'll be missed.

@ROYGBlV Thanks for the correction regarding Alia's age. I knew she had to be about 18 or 19 because this performance is dated 2009. I didn't know she was born on Christmas Day. So she lost her mom on the day after her birthday/Christmas. How painful that must be. My heart definitely goes out to her. She will continue to be in my prayers.
