current CO2 levels are at 392 ppm, within 3 years they will hit 400 ppm, a level not seen for millions of years. global warming has the potential to defrost antarctica not in centuries or even decades but years. antarctica is connected to every tectonic plate around the world. when trillons of tons of ice are removed it will rise out of the ocean by as much as five miles and crack the earths crust. this is not a doom and gloom prophesy, this is science. we are going to need a lot ot trees.

@Greymulkin2010 the 10 °C plus will result in cold weather. not easy to understand, hm? hotter air means more evaporation. evaporation brings down temperatures. having more energy in our system will cause the weather to alternate faster and more extreme between hot and cold periods. Only 4°C plus in average and the earth is not inhabitable for us all anymore. so be careful with your wishes :)

Well, it is warming, well, actually, was warming, the last 10 to 20 years it's been cooling...

Global Climate Change is real. Humans have little if anything to do with it and it's virtually impossible to determine if our actions are causing warming or cooling in aggregate.

Other planets have warmed over the same period. C02 levels *follow* temperature changes, not lead them.

In any case the Government is using it to further enslave us.

Many scientists say that it very well could cool until about 2015, but ALSO say the global climate change IS real AND caused by humans and will greatly intensify after 2015

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), the most esteemed scientist on the planet would disagree with you... All of the scientists bought and paid for by the oil industry would totally agree with you. I find it helpful to follow the money in any dispute. Who stands to gain the most from either side of the argument. By keeping the public ignorant, the oil industry stands to gain billions.
