  • hes wearing a suit. he must know what hes talking about

  • Goolsbee ... shame on the University of Chicago for giving tenure to such an expert on lunatic economics that only are meant to have their loon views on economics match their twilight ideology.

  • austan goolsbee is part of the skull and bones society.....

  • this video is soooooo wrong.. does this dumbass know anything about economics?? CUT TAXES & CUT SPENDING!!! but more importantly, i'm not a slave to society! simply because i'm more productive and command a higher salary does make me your slave to command by force and tax! my wealth is mine, regardless of the amount. read some ayn rand folks.

  • @gta405421

The american society allows you to earn that money, cause they provide you infrastructure and a working society. To keep the society running you need some level of redistribution. If you impede that, you might cause a revolution where the poor people don't take that shit any longer and burn the whole motherf*ckin' country - your house and car included. Wealth is produced by many people, but only few get a benefit out of their work these days. If this continues, we're screwed.

  • @gta405421 You are the single most ignorant, mindless idiot I have ever come across. Standard and Poor's primary reason for downgrading the U.S. credit rating was because of the fact that Republican's refused to raise tax's on the richest Corporations in the world. In 2010 Exxon Mobile and General Electric payed less than 1% of their income to tax's, while the average middle class american pays 10% or more. Lets just get rid of tax's and cut all spending!, then we can live in a 3rd world country

  • That is a visual fallacy. Statisticians and economists don't use like circles and other objects to present data, they just use numbers.

  • Government does not create jobs. Government employs people who are paid by taking money OUT of the economy. There is no wealth created there, no prosperity engendered, and no freedom maintained or enhanced. Government these days is about control and regulation. Taxation, which again....is the SUBJECT OF THIS VIDEO...is one of the ways that the government exercises control.

  • It is very, very simple. There is no "middle class tax cut" for the GOP to "take hostage". Taxes were cut by GW Bush. The current fight is only over whether or not to continue those cuts as is. This video is bullshit.

  • If you dont give me what i want i will fuck these people up!!!!! A line ued by bank robbers, now featured the Senate-

  • Raising taxes is about the dumbest thing you could do right now, with the economy fragile as it is. What needs to happen is cuts in SPENDING. And that includes all the sacred cow entitlement programs.

  • Hey everyone don't sweat BDOGGY00. Check out his web page if you need proof.

  • you are a bunch of idiots!!!!The millionaire tax break will actually generate more tax revenue. By the way, I know you are the dumbest Americans but newsflash, the tax brake is for American making $250,000 +, not all are millionaires. When ever there is a tax cut for the top bracket, more tax revenue is always collected. Just look at history when Ronald Reagan cut the taxes on the top bracket by 50%, and 5 times the amount of tax revenue was collected. Stop ruining our country!!!!

  • @BDOGGY00 It's break not brake. If we don't pay higher taxes now or do away with social security or other services like Boener wants to do we'll just have higher taxes in years to come. Look at the deficit. It's growing exponentially. It's called compound interest. We'll have to pay more anyway. You assholes have been trying to do away with everything since day one, but oh well just as long as we got ours. When you're dead we'll pay the debt. Fuck you.

  • @HoGraz again the first thing we have to do is eliminate all of dumbass Nancy Pelosi's wasteful spending, stop bailing out companies, and giving into Obama and his horrible stimulus packages that don't even work. Taking Obama out of office and replacing him with Chris Christie would be helpful. Also, high taxes on the wealth will actually lead to a decrease in tax revenue..........read about the laffer curve.....and by the way i am only 14, i am not some old rich guy

  • @BDOGGY00 Oh man I'm sorry. Well listen I agree with you about Nancy Pelosi. I can't stand her either. Bailing out companies is a way of preventing a depression. The tea party started when bush did TARP, but our economy is so fragile that we'd probably cave in. I will say however that when I was in business school the idea was that in the 80's when Reagan bailed out Chrylser (yea Reagan not Obama) it just let them continue to be a drag on the economy. That was the idea but so many jobs would be

  • @HoGraz lost which the CEO said to Congress that it would hurt the economy too much to let them fail. I've read about the Laffer Curve and they knew that it would make a deficit. This was intentional so they could block social spending. Reagan tripled the debt. We went from the greatest creditor nation to the greatest debtor nation. Bush Sr. raised taxes afterwards and Clinton balanced the budget. This is obvious. Reagan wanted to kill Social Security just like Boener is now.

  • this is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Common sense tells you this is stupid. It doesnt cost anything as we should not be having to borrow any money to 'give' to anyone. the guy is an idiot and I would debate him any day of the week.

  • fucking lying propagandist clown

  • He talks like he knows what he is saying and the pictures on the board are probably correct. The part he fails to analyze is his conclusions. Saying that releasing this money back into the free market economy "does not work" is pure bullshit. We know that it will work to stimulate the economy because it has in the past. Many companies today ARE holding on to their cash because they don't know what Obama is planning but they know it could kill them financially.

  • @JRFrogman releasing money back into the economy didnt work.... we tried it in 2001 and it was followed by a nine years of decline in the average middle class income (longest streak in us ecenomic history).

  • since when? the only thing that hurt us much at all was going to war and we had to do it. the less the gvt is involved with economics the better. free markets will always correct and history has shown this. Your information if bogus and just like the guy in the video, you need to learn more about economics and use a little common sense.

  • I just google'd the US GPD and found out that there's more than $14 trillion dollars Obama has left on the table in the market. Wow! If we take all that money off the table, we could pay off the national debt!

Why are we letting people keep that much money? Why not simply take all the money and just give people what they absolutely need to live on for a few years?

  • @imjasonn who live on? people too dumb to survive on their own, people who won't help the economy at all?

or am i missing your point

  • Rename this guy Goebbels. This is nothing but b.s. propaganda. Anyone who understands anything about economics knows that this guy is full of crap.

  • @PHenry500 amen. my 16 year old knows more about economics than this guy does. using sympathy to get a point across that isnt even true is a double no no.

  • Jesus christ, this is fucking enraging.

    Propagandist bullshit.

  • @afq2007 posted a good response to this video.

  • How, exactly, is allowing people to keep their OWN money "giving" them anything?

  • @jb9152 True but he did say we as a nation have to borrow from other countries to pay for them like Saudi Arabia. These guys on top can pay for campaigns to keep getting more tax cuts cause they are the golden keepers of the economy.

  • @HoGraz Why are we borrowing in the first place? It's the SPENDING that's totally out of control. We need a government that has the backbone to *cut* spending, not produce propaganda videos about how the government is "giving" people money with tax cuts. They're not GIVING anything - it's our f@cking money in the first place.

  • @jb9152 very true. see you caught that too just as I did

  • @HoGraz Is the money you earn owned by you, or by the government? How about for those poorer than you? How about for those with slightly more money?

Can you give me a yearly salary, say, where the money ceases to be the earner's, and becomes the government's?

  • @jb9152 Well shit look at the banks man. Those assholes had pushed congress to let them do whatever they want to do teaser rates, pay-day loans. When you don't have something like $300 in your account they can charge you an $8 monthly fee. When you overdraft they don't until this admin. offer the chance (by mandate of law) to opt out of overdraft fees which are designed to pick the largest charge first. They should feel privileged to use your money. They lend money that's the concept.

  • @HoGraz Most americans are in debt by 1.9% of their income because of credit being extended whereas in 1974 they saved 11%. Seems to me overall the corporations and the banks have gotten richer through deregulation. We're all going to be surfs if this shit goes on.

  • @HoGraz Hmmm...and who was it that applied for that debt, and spent themselves into debt? I don't recall MasterCard holding a pistol to my head and insisting that I buy things with their card.

Are you, personally, that weak-willed and of such low character that you can't possibly resist spending yourself into debt? Are you really that little in control of your own faculties?

  • @HoGraz Sorry if I'm making this too personal...I'm not meaning to impugn you in any way. I'm just asking - are you unable to control your spending? If you're in debt, was there any coercion by banks, credit card companies, etc., in your life that forced you into debt? Or was it choices that you made. Given the alternative of being fiscally responsible, did you spend more than you could reasonably pay back?

If so, you're in good company - the current President does that too.

  • @jb9152 Hah good point. Well we've done this to ourselves in a lot of ways. It's not just people who save their money and work hard that are the good guys. A lot of people are just trying to get through and don't pay enough attention to politics. Our consumerism is out of control. Having a unofficial holiday (Black Friday) where you buy tons of stuff you don't need is a strange ritual. People in the GOP are not all about Good Family Values anymore. In fact I totally disagree with that.

  • @HoGraz Most Privatizing prisons etc. is a sick way to make tax relief. That's one example Sure Clinton did a lot of that. Whatever I'm going off the deep end. I would say that there is a lot of coercion for people to go into debt. I signed up with Bank of America and they tried like hell to get me to get a debit card. It took them 15 minutes to shut up. They push you through the process of registering your account. You can't look at the fine print. When you go to the mall they push cards on you

  • @HoGraz You still haven't even attempted to answer my question. Now you're off on privatizing prisons and debit cards, and somehow got there from family values.

It's a very simple question - how much of the money that YOU own belongs to you, and how much belongs to the government? Can you answer that?

  • @jb9152 Fine if you don't want a government you can just not pay taxes. See how long that shit lasts.

  • @HoGraz Still not answering the question, but you're good at setting up straw men. Come on, HoGraz...how much is it? How much of your money is your own, and how much belongs to the government? It is a VERY easy question, and don't understand why it is you can't answer it. Just throw a number out there.

  • @HoGraz And actually, you're wrong - I can't "just not pay taxes". It's the law.

  • @jb9152 50,000 just like those rich liberals in Hollywood that don't need money. Hah :P

  • @HoGraz So did you send any money you made over $50,000 to the government last year?

  • @jb9152 No. Listen you've got a point, but most people don't pay attention to the deficits. Reagan ran a deficit on purpose. Bush Sr. took it down a bit, but Clinton eliminated it. Reagan was trying to kill Social Security and most stuff others would like to have seen. I assume most people didn't care about others future then or they just thought it was a bad thing somehow. This deficit has got to be paid regardless. Most people don't think about that. They just think about their own pocket.

  • @HoGraz Sure the healthcare bill was costly but no one cared about the fact that 20 million other Americans didn't have insurance until it became a thing the left wanted to take care of. Now people are bitching about taxes. That seems like the least of our worries. Two wars the GOP got us into and now they're mad about taxes going up? What the hell? Taxes had to go up during Bush Sr. to pay for the shit after Reagan. Clinton had to do some magic juju to get us anywhere to not in debt.

  • @jb9152 Only certain taxes, like state, but to IRS, no. It never conducted itself legally and isn't an actual dept. of our gov't. IRS just uses fear to get people to pay. The 16th admendment was never legal due to Section 9 of Article 1 ( any time you read of limitation to congress its binding reguardless if they reppeal it otherwise the 1st would have been done away with already). You can review the laws and USC for the proof.

  • @atommygun So have you stopped paying your federal taxes?

  • Comment removed

  • @jb9152 Prior to service I was able to dodge it, but the military won't obey the law when it comes to these things. The only federal taxes I paid prior service were taxes held to census, taxes on imported goods, medicare, and SS. State was a given, but I wasn't going to contribute to illegal revenue. I have made it a firm stance to collect all owed taxes collected illegally, and have won through due process. It was made even easier when I found out that former IRS employees never paid it either.

  • @jb9152 Sure you've got a point but we've been getting screwed on my side quite a bit for a time.

  • @HoGraz What "side" are you talking about?

  • @jb9152 The bottom side dude. Those entitlements like Social Security often are the only thing you can bank on. When you're nomadic you can't save often and when the economy tanked like it did my company went from a 50% match on their 401ks to 25%. That's pathetic. Hell even when you're about to retire they'll swindle you out of that.

  • @HoGraz The "bottom side"? You know that the bottom half of the taxpayer base pays less than 4% of the total taxes, right? In fact, in 2009, the bottom 40% actually made a *profit* from their federal income taxes (i.e. they got more in tax credits than they owed in taxes). The top 10% of earners paid about 73% of all income taxes.

  • @HoGraz The fact that you're "nomadic" is a cop out. You can get a bank checking account and access it nearly anywhere, by almost any means. And you can save if you have any amount of personal responsibility and willpower. Hell, I did it making minimum wage.

That your company even contributes to your 401k should be considered cake. You're GETTING MONEY FOR NOTHING. Some companies don't even provide a match.

So quit it with the class warfare "the bottom side dude" bullshit.

  • @jb9152 Well maybe the Republicans should have paid attention to the economy in '04 then we might not be having this conversation. You do realize that Bush put a tax bracket of 10% in that didn't previously exist until the Bush Tax "Cuts"? right? I thought that tax cuts were supposed to pay for themselves. Guess not. Also I disagree with some large banks like Bank of America or Citigroup who finance pay-day loans. Do you think that having most Bush voters with a 98 IQ in most blue collar states

  • @HoGraz is a good reason for "Class-Warfare?" Bush managed to totally not care about education on purpose. I'm not just putting everything on Bush but you've got to be kidding me. You're fuming about taxes as the only thing out there and breaking everything down to a total yellfest and you don't even know of anything outside your paradigm. Listen these days you work for a company and get canned at age 64 for nothing so you can't get retirement so I think I'll bitch about 401ks.

  • @HoGraz Plus when lots of companies I've worked for manage to cut your hours to 15 when you become eligible for benefits or after they've gotten your work for the grand opening. This is ridiculous. Most jobs today are service based cause of Reagan and all those people who think just cause they've worked hard they should have a reason to not fight for keeping things level on both ends. Even when you hit 40 at large firms paying 50k they don't pay for you to go to school they shit can you.

  • @HoGraz I worked for a guy who said he wrote the program at IBM that determines that. He didn't like it but I respected him. He however didn't look at things objectively. His main beef with governments was taxes. He thought the more money they kept the freeer they were. That's called economic liberalism. I understand where he's coming from but I disagree with it. You can stop jumping up and down about your ideology and fucken have a discussion like a human being.

  • @HoGraz So, your contention is that the more money the government confiscates from people, the "freer" those people are? Is that really what you're saying? Are you THAT fucking dense?

  • @HoGraz Why are you working at companies that cut your hours or "shit can" you? Did Ronald Reagan hold a gun to your head and make you fill out the application?

  • @HoGraz BUSH didn't care about education? He, against his conservative base, expanded spending enormously with "No Child Left Behind". See, this is why I can't take you seriously - you simply repeat myths that fit your worldview, and fire off these weird references to "pay day loans". The video is about TAXES. You can't seem to stay on that topic for more than a sentence. How about you comment on my post about lower-income profiting from the tax system?

  • @jb9152 You have totally lost it. You are an idiot. Ask ANY teacher and they will say they are AGAINST IT. I have myself. I have friends who work in Public Education. You are again focussing on taxes and trying to character assasinate. No Child Left Behind was a way to keep him in office. It eneded hurting more than it helped. Sure it increased spending but it lowered the test scores and just passed people along. No Child Left Behind, A Head Start? Someone is losing ground.

  • @HoGraz Populus politics about taxes. That's all it is. That's why I'm saying that. Most dumbasses only care about the short term. That's why when our children are competing against India and China we'll be fucked but that's ok we can focus on this ideaology that people really have control over their lives. So you really think the Left should never exist? You attack the left as if they've never done shit. I will say this - the fair tax is a great idea. happier? God.

  • @HoGraz I'm not against TAXES, per se. I'm against their expansion and against their punitive nature against the most productive in society. I also think spending is wildly out of control. Thank God you actually said one thing that makes sense - the "fair tax". Bravo, and amen.

  • @jb9152 I think you just have to be right. That's your problem. You have turned a discussion into an all out yell fest over taxes. Let me sum things up: Bush's plan made it easier to pass people along. It's a joke. Ask any teacher. They are not for it. My friends that are teachers care about children and know that it's a joke. It's a political strategy not an education plan. You are wrong. You can not just push your way into truth.

  • @HoGraz Point two Warren Buffett and countless Billionaires have said 'RAISE OUR TAXES. THE DEFICIT IS OUT OF CONTROL.' That is coming from the people who have been given the golden wand of the economy for years. "Tax cuts for the rich create jobs." Say what you will but these are FACTS. Buffet has said in interviews and you can watch them here that he is paying 15% tax while his employees pay a little more. We are only paying interest on the deficit. "Letting the free market sort things out."

  • @HoGraz - will not work. You can scream all you want but this is the truth. Now if you are against government programs like the Health Bill that's another thing.

  • @HoGraz WHAT won't work? You're amazingly obtuse with some of these replies. The fair tax? The flat tax? What?

I am against government spending going wildly out of control, and the government expecting their inability to control themselves to be supported with MORE tax dollars from the American people, rich, poor, and in the middle.

  • @jb9152 Well I agree with that statement about spending going out of control. That's cause the corporations as we know managed to get their guys in and pass bills that had no oversight. If you look back Goldman Sachs funded both parties in 08.

Actually education has something to do with taxes since you were talking about 'wasting money.' That money comes from taxes. We both agree on that.

Obama actually lowered the taxes for small businesses of 200,000. Boener and Republicans want to say

  • @HoGraz Small businesses are large firms that make 250,000 and up. The Republican party has always been the party of the corporate interest. In the 70's the Democratic Party said it was time to take off the gloves and take on corporate sponsors to compete with the Religious Right.

That said, at one point corporations were paying a hefty tax but when they lowered that they managed to use the government to knock off their competition.

  • @HoGraz That's why you need a balance between the public and private sector. When R&D patents get bought up by companies that can profit by staying uncompetitive like Oil Companies they will do that. That's what they want to do with Net Neutrality. See if people are turned on to a different system or whatever or the idea to not pay for sites etc they can control everything. Sites will go away. That's what they want. Look at what they've said with California going bankrupt. I live in Tennessee -

  • @HoGraz We've moved from a place where small business thrived to a corporate system. Why are all the places everyone shops now shopping malls? Earthfare here has 'Earthfare Shops." Kroger and McDonald's are in the business of real-estate too. Once they do away with public education they can corporatize that too. You can bet that will happen. They already do that with colleges.

  • @HoGraz Warren Buffet is one man with an opinion; he is no more "the people" than you or me. He's just one man. Raising taxes on the people and small and medium businesses that actually create the lasting jobs that put money in peoples' pockets and food on the table, while continuing to spend like drunken sailors, would be suicidal. That attitude is exactly why incumbents (and for the most part tax-and-spend incumbents and liberals) were swept from office this November.

  • @HoGraz Teachers don't like it because it holds them accountable. That said, I don't like the program because it shoveled more money into a demonstrably failed education system. I thought it was one of the low points of Bush's presidency.

And it still has nothing to do with taxes.

  • @HoGraz You said Bush "didn't care about education". He EXPANDED spending on education with a bi-partisan initiative (with liberal patron saint Ted Kennedy). It was supported wholeheartedly by Democrats. Of COURSE teachers didn't like it; it actually held them accountable for their students' performance (oh, horrors!). Nonetheless, this is again just a misdirection on your part. The video is about TAXES. You still have yet to make one thoughtful comment on that subject.

  • @HoGraz You just can't seem to stay on topic, can you? I tell you, and have stats to back it up, that almost half the people in this country actually profit from the tax system - in other words they get more back than they paid in. And you reply with crap from '04, and references to voter IQs. It's characteristic of the common leftist, when confronted with facts, to launch scatter-brained and not very focused attacks on various straw men. So, I'm not surprised you have no answer.

  • @HoGraz That's charming, but of course doesn't even come close to providing any answer whatsoever to the question I posed.

I'll ask you again - how much of the money that *you* earn is yours? It should be a really easy question - I'm asking about you, after all. Try not to go off on Wall Street, bankers, etc. We can talk about those later, if you like. But for now, try to stay on topic for one second. How much of the money that you earn is YOURS?

  • @jb9152 where are you going with that?

  • @cliffkemp Where am I going with what? My assertion that the government, with tax cuts, doesn't "give" anything? That's just a basic fact. The government doesn't *give* anything. It takes.

  • @jb9152 exactly just asking as to what your beliefs were.

  • This guy is a bonafied idiot!!!

  • teabaggers new idea? You've got to be kidding me! If greed and bigotry a new. The ideas they have are to self destruct.

  • Is the size of the cut proportional to the area or diameter of the circles?

  • @pysgodfach Does it matter? Diameter and are are directly correlated.

  • @NonisMonster If you recall basic math, or have access to wikipedia, the area is proportional to the square of the radius, which is half the diameter. I ask because it sounds like the big red circles are bigger than they should be.

  • @pysgodfach Hm, nice, you just proved me right. Area is dependent on diameter, the exact formula is something different. If the diameter is large then so is the area, so it doesn't matter which one you're looking at, as long as you compare D to D and A to A of the circle and ones Area to another's Diameter. I know more than basic math...I don't even know why I'm arguing about this on here either....

  • im dumb, can someone please explain this video of what he is trying to say i dont understand

  • @thissitesuxmytwat01 Vote Democrat if you want a society that promotes economic growth but still keeps the playing field fair.

  • @JJFZ3000 China and North Korea are that way. >>>>>

  • @JJFZ3000 And how about vote for neither party because they are corrupt and are on a power trip? We need a new political platform to stand on, new parties with fresh ideas. We need public servants, not politicians. What a joke.

  • @Moshm4n

Yeah, I would vote for a third party if one exists. Obviously we know that voting for independents is dumb because they never win. What's a point of voting for a party that can't win?

We need a VIABLE third party. A third party with the money and popularity to beat the two parties. Tea baggers are not the solution.

  • @JJFZ3000 I'd rather vote for these "tea baggers" than anyone else right now. They seem to have fresh ideas.

  • Thank you UpTakeVideo for posting this!! It's sad that too many people are unaware of this video.

  • only 385 views? c'mon!

  • "SHUT the f[u]ck up already. NONE said they dont want HEALTH CARE REFORM assh[o]le. Go lick your nut s[a]ck I am done with you..." - PatriotWatchUSA

Why are conservatives so abrasive? It seems that every other word is an insult to the liberal who also happens to be making some valid points. Sure, the liberal uses a few choice four letter words, but it only seems to be for added emphasis on a point rather than an insult toward the conservative. Do conservatives use insults because they (cont'd)

  • (cont'd) know that they can't make a good point? This is one of the many reasons why I am not conservative, because it is rather hard to have a conversation or talk to somebody who wants to stick their fingers in their ears and not listen, very juvenile for a conservative to do.

  • I probably should have posted the full quote. Anyway, here it is:

" SHUT the f[u]ck up already. NONE said they dont want HEALTH CARE REFORM assh[o]le. Go lick your nut s[a]ck I am done with you. We DO NOT want OBAMACARE the people SPOKE it is over and will be REPEALLED" - PatriotWatchUSA

  • @IWantToBelieve2887 I also see this kind of behavior on the other side of the aisle.

  • @PatriotWatchUSA One right wing talking point has the Health Care Bill too long and too hard to understand. The other talking point claims that the people have spoken and they don't want this version of health care reform. If you combine the two, are we to trust the opinion of someone who doesn't understand the topic well enough to create a valid opinion?

  • @2010GOP Please read the rules for commenting here. Abusive language is not tolerated here.

  • @UpTakeVideo: Of course, "those rules" only apply to Conservatives. LOL.

  • @UpTakeVideo Thank you for creating an interesting forum dedicated to proper and civil conversation.

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Please read the rules for commenting here. Abusive language is not tolerated.

  • @2010GOP Is life easy as a retard:? Maybe you should ask the kids you don't take care of if life is easy when their mother is one. They may have to respond slowly in order for you to understand, however.

  • Make it simple for us AUSTAN we are a VERY stupid people and need to be walked through it.

HOW COME THERE IS NO BILL? How come you didnt vote on anything? Why are you LIBERALS at home painting more lies. Why arent you liberals running on HEALTHCARE

  • @PatriotWatchUSA You are the one lying. You gave all those fraudulent numbers but you weren't able to back them up. You said, ""63 BILLION of health care overseas" Prove your statement.

  • PEOPLE amke alot because they get up and GO TO WORK each day. Why is that YOURS AUSTAN.

ECONOMIST who AUSTAN give us names LIBERAL. What economist? SOROS

  • THEY expire AUSTAN because DEMOCRATS wouldnt PASS the bill without EXPIRATION date.

    "Who you crappin"

Lets VOTE on tax today! Oh we cant PELOSI sent everyone home to paint MORE lies and TRY to save their back ends. WONT HAPPEN

  • WHERS our BUDGET AUSTIN GOOLSBEE. Where is the budget?

People who make $250,000 isnt a MILLIONAIRE AUSTAN

Fiscal YEAR starts TODAY where is our BUDGET????

Whats the bill number or name AUSTAN so WE AMERICANS CAN LOOK IT UP.

  • It's only a 4% increase!!! (TAX RATE 39%) When Reagan became president it was at 50%. Let's go back to the 50's, the good old days, when the top end was taxed at 91%.

  • You need to start FIRING these Government loonies. That way - your save money and you, the people, get the money - you spend (or save) the money- and America once again prospers - get it??

  • Dude - LMAO you have to borrow money for tax cuts???? HAHAAHAHAAHAHA. WOW this guy has some nice swampland to sell America too. Obama - the sequel 'Can he dupe the stupid people of America once again' (by putting this car salesman in place of a real financial expert like Peter Schiff)

  • IT DOESN'T WORK!! Sigh....

  • Reading through the comments here I couldn't help but think that maybe we should change the name of the country to "The Divided States of America" because we sure aren't acting like The United States of America!

  • From what I understand even 30-40 Democrat's BROKE RANK from Pelosi and Obama and agreed with the GOP that ALL the TAX CUTS should remain, not JUST republicans!

  • The main strategy of the GOP and the wealthy is to rely on the supposed superiority they exhibit in understanding economics better than the working class, and convincing the working class that anything that benefits the rich and the powerful benefits them. Their hope is that middle class Americans remain in this delusion throught their propaganda.

  • @Kountkelobo I have been a republican all my life and I just laugh when I hear comments like yours.

I am a stay at home mom living on a blue collar income.

Since you lefties LOVE to say the Tea-Party is mostly republicans, then WHERE are all these RICH people at the rally's???

    Stereotypical BS!

  • Mr Goolsbee, could you also do a REAL SIMPLE breakdown as to just what some of the OTHER thing's Obama has accomplished so us STUPID SHEEPLE can understand?

After all it's the voter's FAULT that we don't seem to understand what President Obama is doing!

Can you explain the EGG analogy as well.

Do you mean EGG in like Obama is LAYING AN EGG?

Thank you for helping EXPLAIN this to me. DUH!

Sorry, I've got to go now and WAIT in the UNEMPLOYMENT LINE!

  • PURE PROPAGANDA.

  • @3martijns GHOULSBEE is a very appropriate last name for this guy, don't ya think?

    lol

  • @NWsubmom I thought that the 1st time I heard his name.

  • Break the CIRCLE of too much government power and growth.

BREAK the BIG GOVERNMENT BUBBLE and vote them OUT in NOVEMBER!

  • JFK understood you don't grow an economy and create job's by RAISING taxes on private citizens and business.

  • Austan TOOLSBEE, did YOU draw those circles? Hilarious.

I will say ONE thing for you, you sure know how to talk DOWN to the American people. Isn't that why Obama hired you?

  • I support Bush Jr. His family and my family go way back and we are the best of friends. In fact, after 9/11 he helped my family immensely In fact with his help, he helped my organization greatly expand into different countries where they were unwelcome before. He even helped my predictions about the US's economic problem. He did things which I could not have achieved in my wildest dreams.

  • @saadasim You must be Eric Prince. To bad Eric you might never come back to America to answer up for your crimes.

  • In the 1980s President Reagan used Art Laffer's idea (Laffer Curve) to Cut Taxes on Everybody.

That Worked to Save the USA from Carter's Policies that greatly Damaged the Economy.

The current administration is Obviously Anti-Business and Anti-Capitalist.

More Taxes and Obamacare are Stifling Small businesses, the Engine of USA economy.

  • Obama is attacking exemptions at all levels. He has already raised your inflation tax by bailing out wallstreet and printing the money to replace it.

This is about suckering those wrapped up in the left-right team sport mentality in to class war-fare.

Income taxes violate the fourth amendment and if the giverment would just lower spending to that of the year 2000 you could abolish it completely for everyone with no short fall.

  • @JimboTHC You seem to be smart. Why not add a comment about this bullshit video and if PROGRESSIVES get their way what it will do to AMERICA instead of fighting with people who are on the same side of the battle field.

Friendly fire is not helping the cause

  • @PatriotWatchUSA The shocking demise of the conservative bowel movement that nearly destroyed our country. The dying farting noises of con idiots desperately trying to avoid how wrong they've been all along. funny, shocking and sad all at the same time. Your comment falls in the funny category.

  • @callouschristian YES the American people got rid of those terrible RINOS just like we are gonna clean house in 2010 and 2012. Democrats will be lucky to have any seats.

So now we are cleaning PROGRESSIVES out on both sides of the aisle. Getting back to voting in AMERICANS with AMERICAN values. TEA PARTY revolt is SPEEPING the nation

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Well said.

These USEFUL IDIOTS for the left don't realize how they are being USED by BIG GOVERNMENT LIBERALS like Obama and Co.

They will defend their STUPIDITY to the end to protect Obama's NANNY STATE!

  • @NWsubmom They support a jobless economy. JFK knew better. Thats why LIBERALS shot him

  • @PatriotWatchUSA So true. If JFK were alive today he would be considered at the very least a RINO.

Point being is JFK understood something the Democrats seem to have forgotten.

But then again the Democratic Party of old is gone and has been REPLACED by SOCIALISTS/COMMUNISTS.

    Sad but TRUE.

  • JFK said it works but OBAMA said it doesnt WORK. Hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • VOTE out these PROGRESSIVES OUT in November or CONTINUE paying the price.

  • @PatriotWatchUSA If we have the money for your bullshit false-flag military training session the middle east we have money to help people buy homes.

Not that Obama's going to stop that bullshit either.

  • @JimboTHC It'snot the GOVERNMENTS job to help people buy homes. THE PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL MARXIST Democratic Party already tried that and thats why we are in a pickle right now. The madness continues.

3 TRILLION in less than 2 years bailing out BANKS, Auto Co and UNIONS. GOOD JOB . OH and NOW we are killing CIVILIANS in PAK & Syria

  • @PatriotWatchUSA Your right, it's not the governments job to help people buy homes. But picking out one small piece of the bullshit pie that the poor managed to get ahold of is right-wing propaganda that ignores the real issues.

And hell yes I have ammo.

  • @JimboTHC One small pcs of the bullshit pie. 1 small pc???? Your kidding. Why not help us stupid people and explain the big picture smarty

  • @PatriotWatchUSA "smarty"? Priceless!
