I don't know what you guys are talking about. Rose dying made the book as great as it is. The fact that Martin does so much for others and never wants anything in return makes you feel as if him and Rose should be together, that he deserves this little happiness. When he's denied that, it creates a bitter sweet ending. It's that bitterness that makes the book memorable and my favorite of all the Redwall books.

i agree, the way she died was a little diffrent too from the book, and in the book they never said i love you tho a lot of hints were given at it. The ending to Martin animation defently needs a tissue or two.
sadly only 3 books were made to animation that i know of. each one has 13 eposides. Redwall Mattimeo and Martain the warrior. What we did get is beautifuly done.

Tears literally came pouring from my eyes whe I read Martin the Warrior. The death of both Felldoh and Laterose caused me to cry.
The best out of the whole series! Or so what I've read so far. I'm almost done with it.
