  • thanks now my life is saved i can put a bunny down i thought you were going to kill well never get your hopes up

  • Thank you a lot, I'm only 12 and my mom said if I keep getting mad at my bunny we're going to have to take her back Lol. Don't worry I didn't hurt her or anything except when I would try to put her back in her cage she'd start squirming and scratch me so I'd put her down really fast and get mad. But now I know how to put her down, thanks!

  • Ty so much, I was doing it all wrong :(

  • No wonder my rabbit would kick me like crazy!

I was cradling her like a baby before haha

  • bunnies look like fun pets

  • They are!

  • Oh! thank you (: i wondered why my bunny kept jumping into his cage (:

  • You are welcome, now he will be much more tame too.

  • holy shit i was diong it all wrong!

  • Wear long sleeves, practice a lot. Give her treats to help make her want to see you. Good luck

  • Thank you for the information but, my rabbit still don't want to be carry. what should i do to carry him without having any scratches in my skin.

  • you have some really great videos absolutely great for newbies thanks for posting them :)

  • is grabbing a bunny by scruff and the feet not used anymore (had rabbits years ago, but I know things might have changed)

  • I do not like to grab by the scruff because the skin separates so easily there and that must hurt! I like to support from below the ribs and under the butt.

  • hmmm...I remember reading somewhere that when a mama tiger picks up her young by the scruff, it releases serotonin in their body, I would assume as a way to sedate the cub.

  • In the wild, rabbits are not scruffed, they are not meant to scruffed. Thats the difference.

  • this is great but my rabbit jumps out of my hands when I am going to put him down or pick him

    up.

  • If his face in near your chest, how can he jump out of your hands? Bend down and place him down quickly before he realizes he's in the air. Good luck, G.

  • Do it quickly. holding the rabbit in the air (dangling) while you are being indecisive scares them. Pick up and place down fast, 1 - 2 seconds max. G

  • I do it the incorrct way! I'm a bad person! lol. Thanx for the info! you guys rock!

  • Thank you for such a great informational video. It makes such a difference when rabbits are handled properly. When they feel secure, they don't bite and scratch.

  • Thank you! I hate when ppl write back with an offensive comment for such a lovely informative video. God bless ya. Love your bunny :)

  • Hmmm, maybe I should rephrase that! ;-)

We use that term here too but rarely, thank God. G.

  • Oh my god! I thought you ment how to...well... Okay over here when we "Put down" Our animals it means to kill them!

....glad to see you just ment how to handle them right ^_^
