Even in 1936 - the greatest electoral votes difference between winner and opponent (Roosevelt 523 to Landon 8) was only about a 30% difference in the popular vote. In 1980, Reagan may have won 90% of the electoral vote, but only 50% of the popular vote. So it isn't really a landslide, only the perception of one.

@k3304 No, actually Bush broke a lot of laws. One being the enactment of the patriotic act and two being the war in Iraq that he declared without consent of congress and the war was based on a LIE. What about the war crimes like the waterboarding that was done? Or Guantanamo Bay which is pretty much like a Nazi concentration camp? George W. Bush created directives that suspended the constitution in 2007. He operated with Executive Intimidation and Dick Cheney is an evil man.

One thing Fox really hates is when they have to cover events like this that confirm what everyone already knew back in 2008 -- that Obama had the votes of the people. McCain couldn't have even got 5000 people in his home state to come out. Look at the massive crowd Obama had in Chicago. He was and is the president for the people. McCain and Fox are in the pockets of corporations and they lie to the people all the time and try to spin the truth daily.

No one running for US president can afford to say no to corporate donors, sadly. That is the way the system is set up. But by and large, most of Obama's money came from individuals in small $25, $50 and $100 donations. Most of McCain's money came in big bundles from lobbyists and corporate people.

Obama's plan for taxing the rich(rich people being mainly the ones who employ)puts the "rich" people in a position where they have to fire people or lay people off. This makes unemployment go up. Look into Obama and look at history and you will see Obama is more of the same and he differs very little from past presidents.
