@stater68 Who advocates for a complete military disarmament, and who doesn't want to defend America? Ron Paul advocates bringing all of our troops home to *defend* OUR borders, and OUR country - the man who warned, while voting to impeach Clinton, that he would vote 'yes', but not for the reasons cited for impeachment, rather a more serious problem - our illegal bombing of the Middle East & went on to warn that it would put us at a huge risk of a terror attack. Couple years later - 9/11/2001.
Take the "tea party" to the next level - National!

I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.
All loans, stock prices, commodity prices etc are recorded and a mathematical formula is applied and this formula is of a great benefit for those comcerned.
The formula has no concern for any emotional hysteria or opinions.
The mandate of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 (and 77) is "to promote effectively the goals of maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates." Thus far the Fed has created a housing bubble to promote employment. It has lowered interest rates too much which gives rise to commodity speculation (put the interest at 7% watch oil prices fall) leading to price instability. By no stretch of the imagination is Bernake following the Fed mandate.

Bernanke is part of the problem because of his human error. Without human error we don't lose. It is fixed to destroy our standard of living by human errors, even Ron Paul's Human error in congress being there doing nothing.
Let the american people decide their fate not Bernanke. 1 % on the dollar can do exactly that, with a new banking division in the social security banking institution. Letting Americans decide their fate.
Oh, and "Chicago" isn't Wall St. It's Main St. This is the problem. The Chicago folks understand that the PPI is GOING to flow over into the CPI. The producers can only hold back their rising costs from the end consumer for so long.
I'm a 'wall street' trader, and an investor. I don't support Ron Paul. But his statements that day made sense. As Rick stated, the Fed's monetary policy hasn't made sense for over 15 years. Bernake is inherieting a disaster from Greenspan (who, if you ask me, should be brought up on charges for economic crimes) and is trying to delay, so volatility can play price out on the indexes. CPI Inflation lowered a bit this month, but Paul was correct. PPI will carry over into the CPI soon enough.
Me. :) I don't support any of them. Most people out there are concerned with one thing: More money, or more power. I'm just trying to see to me and mine.
Ron Paul's message about the critical importance of the Constitution and the Republic will never die. For the anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-Republic Paul bashers out there who think this is about Ron Paul, you can kiss my lily-white Irish ass.
Well, so is McCain, and Clinton, that's why their getting the media attention. If any candidate is being propped up by the media, they are part of the CFR, because Rupert Murdoch, who runs NBC, and ABC is part of the CFR, as well as the News Corporation.
Bernanke and all his predecessor's are controlled by the world's largest banks and banking families - they ARE the men behind Oz's curtain (ounce & yellow brick rd - get it?) that rule the world thru the banks they systematically taken over via the indebtedness for war finance and supply they profit mightily from over and over again.
mises dot org is who Ron Paul learned his Austrian economics from - its a banking cycle & there never was a business cycle that ever impoverished people as badly

I hate to break it to the lot of you, and trust me, I like what the man stands for, but he's not going to be winning this election any time soon.
Ron said he's winding the campain down. But he also told us the the Revolution is just getting started. That is the long term project. We have to get credible people to run for office at all levels of Government. Only then can we be a force that cannot be ignored.

This is a problem with education. Without a proper education history is limited to ones own memories, if it didn't happen in my lifetime, it didn't happen. A SERIOUS problem today. I think it comes down to parenting. Remember when parents used to MAKE their kids learn? A novel consept. Let kids do what they want & it's always smoke pot & play video games. It's not the kids fault, they don't know any better. The responsibility falls squarely on parents shoulders.

KenMacMillan... I agree that education is a HUGE problem, and we're not getting any help in American schools either. They don't teach World and American history now like they did when I was a kid. Unfortunately, books have fallen out of style for kids. One thing though, I have four children of my own who are aware of what's going on in Washington and vote accordingly.
And not just the Iraq war, but the policing the rest of the world under UN rule as well.
The shit is expensive and we've got to stop. Roll back the US into a Republic the way it was meant to be. Not an empire. I don't wanna see the US go down like Rome.
Yeah... sadly, the actual cost of living is not getting higher. Nothing is more expensive than it ever was in terms of absolute costs. A pound of flour is always worth a pound of flour. Gallon of milk = gallon of milk. A Troy oz. of gold is a Troy oz. of gold. Nothing is becoming more valuable. The dollar, which is used to buy all these things, is GETTING WEAKER over time.
Hear, hear, Nakedrat! Paris Hilton, Britney Spears & even the 2008 election, it's mass distraction. RP is the clear choice. But.... Google HR1955. Write your Senator, sign the petition. American censorship is about to be made law! It will put You-Tube out of business! We will become like Putin's Russia, all propaganda, no truth! Long live Internet Freedom!
By the time most Americans realize Ron Paul is right (when the dollar is worthless and their savings are wiped out), it will be too late to save our monetary system. In the meantime I can only do my best to prepare my family for the upcoming crisis. Good luck to the rest of you out there that think Britney Spears is more important than understanding some basic economics. "But CNN and Fox News told me Ron Paul was a wacko!!"
I will write in Ron Pauls name.Sad that the others running is the best we have ..haha what a joke,How is it a chance to fix this country and they vote for pipe dreams and war mongers.
@BostonBeatnik Obama knows nothing about the economy, as most presidents don't. He does what all the others do - lets other people tinker with it and distort it, while frequently planting into the heads of the American people that the president somehow has the authority & ability to alter, run & make more prosperous the economy. The manipulation and lack of stability in this countries economy begins when America's dictator, Bernanke, creates the moral hazard by magically setting interest rates.
benggyy, Ron Paul doesn't want to "rule" anybody. That's the basic premise of his message and it used to be what America was all about too: individual liberty and free markets!!!
Amen. If the American people vote for ANYONE other than Ron Paul, you can kiss this country goodbye. Obama, Clinton, MccInsane, are all schills for the establishment and your not a member! Obama=TAXES and a empty voice, Clinton=NAFTA, and she needs more white house china ( she didnt get all of it the first time ) MccInsane=Amnesty,War,Taxes.. Get busy and become a delegate for Ron Paul and or write him in.
He doesn't advocate the gold standard but allowing competing currencies, rather, including gold and silver bonds. I.e. bonds backed by those two precious metals, which, if they were the sole legal currency, would be equivalent to the gold & silver standard, but that's not his position.
If they had been cheering for Hillary, McCain, Obama, Huckabee, Guilliani,or Joe Shmoe - it would have made the front page of every newspaper in the country, the top spot on the Drudge report and the Huffington Post, and the lead-in story on the nightly news.
The lone ranger, Ron Paul, rides in to return gold to the dollar. Actually, you must agree with his political and foreign policy ideas other than monetary policy in order to save the dollar and save our nation from terrorism.
As Ron Paul so adamantly points out, it's not him it's the ideas that he and many other Americans hold that are important. But in spirit I agree with you, without a leader who believes as Ron Paul we will soon be an admittedly socialist country heading towards communism. (right now most would not admit that we live in a socialist country)
This revolution has only begun; he has brought us together and has changed America indefinitely. He will continue to lead the fight long after the election is over.
Ron Paul will NOT be president, and we WILL go bankrupt, and we WILL lose our sovereignty as we merge with Canada and Mexico with the Amero. With what I've learned since backing Ron Paul, it's sad, it's sickening, but it's sobering that the powers to be WANT us to go down so they can gain more power.
We are soon to be hit by a financial tsunami. Dr Paul is the ONLY candidate with the knowledge, the experience, the policies, the COURAGE, to be able to do what is necessary to put this country back on its feet. We NEED him. Supporting anyone else is just a folly - one that not just us, but our children will have to pay.

If they had been cheering for Hillary, McCain, Obama, Huckabee, Guilliani,or Joe Shmoe - it would have made the front page of every newspaper in the country, the top spot on the Drudge report and the Huffington Post, and the lead-in story on the nightly news.

A weak dollar is a threat to the security of America. We cannot afford to maintain a strong defense without a stong economy and monatary policy.

Come on. The darn voting machines are rigged. The Constitution is gone. It's all moot.

Send us your gold and we'll send you this worthless fiat currency. call now for your gold kit! 1-800-screwed!

The lone ranger, Ron Paul, rides in to return gold to the dollar. Actually, you must agree with his political and foreign policy ideas other than monetary policy in order to save the dollar and save our nation from terrorism.

They are trying to manufacture and brainwash for the Amero, they are not for the gold standards. Oligarchy media trash.

And somehow, he's on the fringe.
Nice job.

Keep fighting! We are winning and mccain is a glass house ready to fall. Take it to the convention all!

They always try and twist his message.

Peter Schiff, Jim Rogers, and even Robert Kiyosaki like Ron Paul. Become a delegate and vote for Ron Paul. Look at how Lincoln became the nominee.
