  • Very good comments but it is very difficult to get rid of plastic bag for public

  • Those thin plastic bags that they put groceries in not the recycled bags you reuse they the thin ones if left outside they will decompose in the sunlight.I have many times found those bags where they been outside for a year or longer and you grab it and say its hung on something it just falls apart when you pull it.So that part of what he said is not true.In water i agree bags last forever. And they do recycle plastic bags into other stuff but not enough plastic bags recycled is why problems come

  • the problem with plastic is that it does not get disposed of properly. There is no point to recycling it. Recycling plastic is more hazardous to the environment than making new plastic. Once it's made it doesn't decompose easily which means carbon NOT in our atmosphere!!!

  • I have heard that it costs more money to recycle (that's if it is possible) than make a brand new one from scratch. This is very unfortunate. Every time I see cshiers even TRIPLE bagging items that do not need to be tripled bagged...I hope the garbage companies REALLY proccess these bags. It takes over 1000 years for them to decompose naturally!!

  • OK - I finally left this open for awhile and it downloaded. Thanks much - I really appreciate that you are a solid waste planner who is so aware of what plastic bags are doing to the environment.

  • I'd love to see this video, but for some reason it keeps stopping 22 seconds in. I guess that means the "stream" is slow, but I keep backing it up and have same problem - stops 22 seconds in. Can you do something about this so I can watch it?

  • That's my dad!!
