I don't think I've ever used an eyeshadow that was as creamy and long lasting as urban decay's :)

It's my favorite brand-- I've only had one shadow that didn't have those signature qualities, but I still think it's beautiful :)

The Avon Quads are very very good imo :))) theyre pigmented but you can build on them or make them lighter if you want

I love BH cosmetics! They have wonderful eye color palette selection, I just bought a 88 color ultra shimmer palette (palette #4) for $15 (50% off sale). They also have 120 shadow palettes too. The pigmentation is fantastic coupled with the NYX white pearl eye base primer.

Hi, fascinated by the Maxfactor smoky effect eyeshadow (with two ends) i bought this one.. but i dont want a smokey eye.. i was a beginner that time and i spent huge amount of ££s in this.. Fyrinnae and TKB Trading are my favorites. You can also learn how to mix your own shades with TKB's ingredients. Sample sizes range from teaspoon to tablespoon and are only $1.50. That's a LOT of pigmented product.

Cool video. I just recently discovered the NYX brand and am enjoying experimenting with their products. Why do you dislike the Bobbi Brown shimmer/metallic eye shadows so much? I'm not nuts about the metallics, but the shimmer wash shadows are quite nice, in my opinion, especially a shade called Heather Mauve. Would love to better understand what you dislike and what you suggest as an alternative...wondering if I'm missing something. Thanks!

There's a brand here in US called "The Balm" they do Shady Lady palettes.. the quality is amazing, very pigmented and easy to blend shadows, not powdery at all.. give them a try :)

I have the NYX shadow trips as well and though I did not like them much at first, I now use them for my subtle looks because the pigments just don't show up well only skin. However, they are quite smooth, so they wear well. I also have the NYX single shadow in black and while it's very pigmented, it fades unbelievably fast, regardless of what primer I use.

Smashbox! They have a beautiful palette with 6 colors, a Midnight.Navy Blue, a beautiful Brown/Burgundy, a shimmery platinum, beige with a little shimmer, a taupe color that reminds me of Patina (mac), and a nice Bronzey color. It cost me around $10 on Ebay. I have to say I find a lot of good buys for cheap on that website :) Thanks for all your videos, theyre FABULOSO!!! Are you in the UK?

I really love the No7 eyeshadows from Boots Wayne, they are expensive at £8 each but I pick them up when they give you those £5 off vouchers ;) Also I adore Revlon & have loads of theirs. Both great drugstore brands for staying power.

Great recommendations Wayne! My must-have eyeshadows are from Wet 'N Wild -they are AMAZING!!! The singles (Brule, Nutty, Envy) are as good as, if not better than MAC, and the trios (Walking on Eggshells and Silent Treatment) are holy grails for an everyday neutral look. Sooo pigmented, no creasing, lovely colors and sooo inexepensive (singles are $2.97 and trios are $4.97 at Walmart!) LOVE THESE!
