  • ehh they have some good music, but churches this big have no character all about a few people that run the service. Smaller churches are the way to go, not the "lets have coffee and donuts and check out girls" kind of places like this.

  • im sorry to say but YOU CATHOLICS OUT THERE, who said MARY was God .......you people will never get eternal life in Heaven wit God if u serve her...pliz its too pathetic......look how the devil has used so many people to make this crap up....REPENT FOR THE END IS NEAR!!!!! unless Mary is right for you and so You,Mary and the Devil can burn in hell. im not joking. so take it seriously.

  • There are many anti-Catholic comments in this video. If anyone is reading this, I would encourage you to consider giving a good look at the history of your faith. It is logical to assume that the early Church would be the most accurate faith example to look at. Please look at the writings of the apostles along with the early Church Fathers, and then ask yourself if things like sola scriptura, symbolic communion/baptism and denominations are correct Christian teaching or practice. Thank you.

  • @agentjs09 The bible is my history. Christians dont need "apocryphal books of the bible" to tell them who God is or how to do things. thats called religion. the truth is, Catholicism has always throughout history, been known to be what Paul describes in Romans as a people where, sincerely, works are placed higher than Jesus' actual sacrifice. The 'Holy spirit' is just a catchy phrase thrown around, but never really pursued or looked for. In the end days,Christ is coming for a bride, not religion

  • @raptordudeJCR I'm not talking about the apocrypha. I'm talking about the early Church. You accept sola scriptura as an axiom, for no other reason than it's all you know. Paul himself, when writing his letters, was merely teaching what was already being taught orally by the Church. Paul was a Catholic. He said that we should "hold to the teachings we passed on to you, by letter or by word of mouth." 2 Thessalonians 2:15

  • @agentjs09 Your "evangelical" understanding of Christianity is little over 100 years old, which doesn't make sense considering that Jesus lived 2000 years ago. What happened during all this time? I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm saying it because it's the truth. Who do you think Paul would accuse of following man-made traditions, the Church which has guarded apostolic teachings since the time of Christ, or the innovative, modernized evangelical church?

  • @agentjs09 and furthermore, when you say that Catholics place works above Christ's sacrifice, that is an absolute lie. The Catholic Church has NEVER, ever taught that. This is a lie promoted by evangelicals against Catholics. The Church has always taught that Christ's sacrifice is what saves us and allows the Holy Spirit to carry out the good works we were created to do.

  • @agentjs09 'furthermore,' what is up with Catholics and taking verses out of context?

How on EARTH do you get that Paul was a Catholic from "hold to the teachings we passed on to you, by letter or by word of mouth."? He aint talking about Catholic Traditions! He's talking about the gospel they (Paul timothy and Silas) had received by faith, not some 'church' traditions. Read all of 1st Thessalonians to get the full context of the letter

  • @raptordudeJCR How is this taken out of context? Listen to what Paul says. "By LETTER or by WORD OF MOUTH." He is writing this in a letter. What does he mean by word of mouth then? Do you really think that when Paul was writing these letters he was thinking "one day, these will be compiled into a comprehensive rule of faith." Obviously not, his letters are not written that way.

  • @raptordudeJCR Also you should be aware that when Paul was writing these letters, the gospels hadn't really been compiled yet, and there wasn't really a new testament. That is history for you. That is why he had to visit the Churches and teach them, write letters to them, and return to the counsel of the apostles for instruction.

  • @agentjs09 correct. what does that have to do with Catholicism then?

  • @raptordudeJCR This: the Catholic Church contains the fullness of apostolic teaching. Both that which was recorded in sacred scripture, and that which was passed down from the apostles through oral teaching (and later recorded by the early doctors of the church). Both were preached by Paul. You need to know what scripture IS, and what scripture ISN'T. Scripture IS an account of what happened. It ISN'T a comprehensive rule of faith. If it was, then there wouldn't be so many denominations today.

  • @agentjs09 By the way, in my comment wherever it says "ure" it's supposed to say "Scripture." Apparently youtube removes the "Script" from "Scripture" if you don't capitalize it... it's supposed to prevent users from embedding javascript in youtube comments.

  • @agentjs09 doesnt matter what they 'taught' its the fruits they have produced. The devil used scripture to his advantage too (not saying Catholics are the 'devil' or anything just saying that you can 'preach' but not abide by it) And im pretty sure Paul was nOT catholic. history shows otherwise. All im saying, is that the catholic church TODAY and throughout history has failed to understand the fullness of the Gospel and doctrine. the Message is there but they has discernment. BIG TIME.

  • @raptordudeJCR The fruits they produced? When I look at the Catholic saints, I see some pretty good fruits. Do you think that bad fruit is specific to Catholicism? Because it's not. I'm pretty sure when Jesus said that he was talking about individual fruits and not about the entire institution. What history shows that Paul was not Catholic? Better yet, what history shows that Paul was an evangelical?

  • I'm a student at Hillsong Bible College. The leaders and teachers in this church are of such inspiration because of their committment in furthering the gospel and reaching the lost and through their sacrificial giving God has blessed them.

Hillsong Culture is all about Jesus. Don't let feelings become facts... be blessed

  • The strange thing is Hillsong is all about Loving God, loving people and loving life. It's never ever been about money.

  • Your feelings on something are not necessarily facts!

  • Ooooh I love that song! "Oh wont you break free, wont you break free, get up and dance in His love!"

  • @shehan47...How can u say the church rox? Jesus rox not the freakin church.

i bet if jesus were standing on the stage at that very moment, nobody would be jumping around and singing like that!

  • lol

  • Heard about this place at church today. I go to Newspring in America and it looks like we've got alot in common.

    God bless!

  • Religion = Cult.

Cults can be a great way to make money once you have brainwashed everyone into believing in the imaginary.

Ponder on that while I put some cookies and milk out for Santa Clause - I know he exists!

  • @stickshift4000 it's only these kind of big, commercialised churches that are all in it for the money.

  • Just what the world needs.. couldnt we keep this cult type religion stuff in America?

  • exactly....this mix of commercialisation and dogmatic cults makes me sick

  • Kinda like North Korea isn't this whole god business?

  • To Cont:Catholicism is the fusion of Romes pagan religion(images, rituals, etc.)fused with Christian teachings.Get your facts right. Also Mary is not supposed to be worshiped. You cannot go to God by praying to Mary or the Saints(as they call it).Only thru Jesus. Nobody comes to the Father but thru Him.I hope you find the truth soon.I know you've heard about it, its just being taught to you in a wrong way, Catholicism(pagan).I'm a former catholic btw so I encourage you to dig deeper.God bless you.

  • Sir with all due respect. A church is not a building. The church is made up of people who congregate in the name of Christ. No standing with ROME? Why would they! Catholicsim was created by Constantine(if I'm not wrong) coz during his time the Roman Empire was loosing the grip due to the Christian "cult" as they call it which was lead by Peter,Paul, etc. They even Jailed them because they profess Christ against their Roman God's.

  • Yeah, and the Catholic Church is the only true one? Like in medieval times? At least now they can't slaughter us as they did at those dark times. Praise God!

  • People always slam those that are successful. Go Hillsongs!!! Their muso's are amazingly professional and talented. Speaking from a music professional myself. You dont have to be religious to know that.

  • ur not aloud to record film in hillsong church!

  • Seriously? Hillsong is my home church and I haven't heard of this rule before! I don't think they really care, considering the number of first timers who are amazed at the church on their visit. There aren't any signs anywhere prohibiting it... are you really sure?

  • When we were there (from US) they told us not to record

  • pay no ministers tithes they are not levites and levites dont exist anymore. Give directly to the poor.

  • everyone who leaves awful comments are well, awful. if this is the way people choose to worship why should anyone else judge them. i think its great that people can have fun whilst worshipping Christ.

  • If youv'e got such low self esteem you need to put down a video on the net I feel sorry for you, but don't do it here. Maybe get some help?

  • Is this a church or a pop concert? I wonder what Jesus would think of such self-serving use of resources? More evidence of the total errancy of Christianity.
