I don't know who Gerald Butler is , but he scores points with our family for creating a cool story with a truly awesome ballad! This song never got the notoriety it deserved, but thanks to you tube and Gerald, it lives!
This has always been one of my very favorite Streisand songs. I remember being so frustrated when it came out b/c it wasn't a hit on the East coast and so it was never played on New York radio. I understand it was a big hit on the West coast and that Californians instantly recognize it.
