Jo is very pretty with her hair shorter.It perfectly suits her character like one viewer said.She has a strong temper.And she had her hair cut to save her family and sisters and bring food on the table.She's very brave and generous!

This part is truly self-sacrificing and a lesson of pure love. Sometimes it takes a huge personal sacrifice to do something for someone you love so much. Jo is one of the characters in literature to prove such a great lesson. This is a possibility of why my mother, may she rest in peace, loved this book and movie SO SO MUCH.
