  • Nothing left to fear, L 'Cie

    Cradled in eternity

Shore on sand, your fate awaits

    Oh, surrender in the light.

  • @Exist64 i thought the music was just as good. The song 'wish' from ffxiii2 is amazing. Lighting's theme from the first game is exquisite symphony music. :)

  • Imagine yourself flying over the sky on a beautiful moonlight .. And down slowly on the beach of roomy walk

And suddenly turns to the dawn of the night, bringing with bright drops of rain and shine on the leaves of the trees .. It is more like a real paradise in our lives !

  • I looooove this song so muchhhhh. it really suits Oerba...so sad though :( Poor Fang and Vanille to see their hometown in dust like that :(

  • haha ff13-2 is da bomb!

  • @Polojoe649 it is! the only disadvantage is...the music really isnt as good as in FF13 :´(

  • The more I played through Oerba, the more I fell in love with this song. It has that sense of nostalgia that's just perfect for an isolated, centuries-old village that used to be thriving and prosperous. Listening to it also makes me feel kind of emotional, lol!

  • i dont know people be hatin on this game...shiiiiiiit

  • Is it alright that i cried?

  • @taka3000000o me too :)

  • @taka3000000o it would be wrong if you didn't

  • I miss playing FFXIII already :")

  • Cool, I get to meet other L'cie in grassy plains! I bet maybe some will let me battle against them!

    *sees first patch of snow*

    Oh boy...

  • @IAMFEFNIR that wasn't snow, it was dust

  • @OathkeeperSoraXIII Or perhaps it was dusty snow...?

  • @IAMFEFNIR lmao, nah i'm pretty sure it was just dust :) kinda makes the place sadder. an empty rundown village covered with c'ieth and dust with no other life there. i'm glad it's making an appearance in xiii-2 (which isn't covered in dust :P)

  • @OathkeeperSoraXIII Oh don't you go spoiling now... but yea, it's probably dust...

  • @IAMFEFNIR the hint is in the name of the song ;) sorry for spoiling, it was in a trailer a couple months back i didn't know it was spoiling if it had been made official =P sorry though

  • @OathkeeperSoraXIII

sorry if i harsh your mellow but if you pay close attention there is actually more crystal dust in the second game than the first its just that the lighting is brighter in the second one

  • @IAMFEFNIR I thought it was. As if in the past, it was still supposed to have snow, just with more flowers and sunshine :3 But when you come back, everything except the snow left.

  • beautiful<3

  • Pfff he said he hate ff13 go play pokemon or some shit u final fantasy hatter bitch ass scrub

  • As much as I hated ff13, this song is one of the best in video gaming history

  • is this where you come to vanille and fangs home????

  • @yaoimaniac929 yes it is.

    This is oerba village.

  • This part of the game made me very sad... *tear* :(

  • I don't have PS3 so I didn't play the game but when I hear this song for the first time I was like OMG THIS SONG IS SOOOO GOOD O___O I can't stop hearing this!!!!

  • @FishyFantasy i know...

  • @crazyexplorer246 I thought only FFX has the best soundtrack among all FF series, I guess I was wrong....

  • As calming and fitting this song was, going to Oerba the first time and hearing this really did set the mood of hopelessness. As if all was lost.

  • I hope square enix will keep putting in such beautiful soundtracks. FF13 had my favorite music by far over all others, im glad they didnt put in the hard heavy metal stuff like they usually do. A game of such beauty needs music that keeps your soul calm, but yet ready to battle whenever.

  • @LilNinskin Yeah stuff like have you heard of Origa? That kind of music

  • hey! Barthandalus is not a devil bastard! He's got that cool robe and a bird that turns into a jet! ur just jealous

  • My copy of FF13 has a sentimental meaning for me.. i just cant get rid of it!

  • Oerba wow.. this place was BEAUTIFUL!!!! i mean really i loved it when i got to Oerba.. i was just walking slowly just to see and listen to this song.. then when i got to the old destroyed classroom and started to read every little thing about the clock hanging in the classroom that is stopped, the chairs everything!.. FF13 i waited for you 4 years! and it was my main reason to get my ps3.. and i havent regretted it and i wont! i still have my copy i just cant sell it or trade it ); it has

  • Even with all the flowers gone, Oerba still looks beautiful with it's sea of crystal sand.

  • She is really sad this music, i i like it all the same :D :) !!!

  • Fang- "Pulse and Cocoon can rot for all I care. If I don't figure out our Focus soon. Vanille's gonna be a Cie'th. I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her."

  • its always so hard to walk around in oerba for me.....

i expected living people who await me there but as i saw that its a dead little place...i got depressive somehow..... the music makes it much much more depressive !!

    so sad... :(

  • Omigosh! This theme is so pretty!

  • This is seriously gonna be the song for my graveyard one day, so beautiful music man! And this comes from the older final fantasy fans who didnt like FF13! ;)

  • Beautiful location theme. It would have been great if there was an extra side-quest at Oerba that involved flashbacks that looked back at Fang and Vanille's life 500 years earlier with their childhood, how and why they were selected to become Ragnarok, etc.

  • I love you, Oerba! :$

    (L)

  • I'm an artist...and i had such an inspiraton from this song..i pictured a young man seeing his friends fallen..and weeping over them..but then..he went further on and saw the sunlight for the first time in years..and he saw the faces of his dead friends. His friends gave him looks saying that they were alright. He smiled at the sunlight and kept moving forward. ;) i love this song with all my heart.

  • OEBRAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nothing left to fear, l'Cie

    Cradled in eternity

Shore of sand, your fate awaits

    Oh surrender in the light

Those are the lyrics to the song. I think they're awesome! ^^

  • @TheJake16783 I didn't even know this song had English lyrics. I thought it was in Latin or something. As I read it in my head whilst the music was playing, I literally had goosebumps.

  • @0II2I992 What are the English lyrics?

  • @ellebellgn It's a top comment.

  • @TheJake16783 surrender to what?

  • This was a real stage song, most rpg's have stage songs that don't fit in quite well, this one my friend...fit PERFECTLY!

  • I always wondered ..What happened to everyone on Pulse?

  • @AngelosL They are Cieth... Only exists humans in Cocoon. If you want learn more about the history of this game, you should complete it to 100% and take the fragments... read it and you will see :D

  • @AngelosL forever servants to the overbearing Fal'Cie who placed focus upon focus on the people of Gran Pulse, turned to Cie'th after their focus lay unfulfiled only to beg those to bring them them salvation from their torture

  • Great song... Some songs you heard are related to a moment and some are very difficult. When it coincides with you, you cant stop listening... its like a painful cure that heals and open wounds and need to be cured again... ouch. I need a better way of living this life :)

  • ye,i wished it would be some cool green lovely village full of friendly life.but no we got 3 buildings and alot of enemies in oerba.

  • @MrProset what did you expect, everyone died in the war, and any survivors proboly died a painful death due to the devil himself bartandulous

  • i thought Oerba was in the yaschas massif, spent three days there trying to find it,finally i got back on track, after defeating the boss on top of taejin's tower, vanille desribes oerba in fine detail,i was getting excited!,but after what sazh said,i was devastated,i will never forget that lonely feeling, walking on crystal white,as the sun shined bright,as that beautiful voice echoed through the mountain tops for a village long forgotten.

  • @dreamyblueangeleyes Yeahhh i was sad too....but i think it was still beautiful. The music and the crystals were stunning.

  • This is video game music! Wow!!!
