Gotta love the circle rainbow of death mac gives u. You know, windows vista u get a reasonable blue screen which explains what you fucked up and how to fix it. Macs just freeze and u see a circle colored like a rainbow

Mac is always concentrating on vista having problems but they dont explain what the problems are. ive had vista for like 3 years on all my comps and ive never had any problems with it and the style is way cooler than xp so seriously whats wrong with vista

You can't run Windows on a Mac by just putting in a Windows CD, you got to install Bootcamp and then install windows.

Same goes for OSX on a PC, you have to do couple coding for it to work.

Ummm you sir are the uneducated one. Bootcamp is pre-installed on all Macs. All you have to do is put a Windows CD in. So yeah do your research before assuming something like that.

Macintosh is AMAZING! :) I have never had a problem with Mac either, and Mac runs Photoshop WAY better than Windows! And Macs play tons of games now, which is nice. :)

The problems with Vista were in the first year. I have been on Vista since beta and haven't had any issues for a couple of years. It trendy to hate microsoft and claim to use Linux or be a Mac addict but most install some eye candy flavor of linux via a live cd and think they are uber geeks. If you are a real geek, you probably have systems with OSX, Vista, XP, and a few Linux boxes.

we never got vista, sicne we got macs before it came out. But I miss XP sometimes (our Parallels isn't working) especially Word 2003, plus the fact that it actually had GAMES, unlike Mac.

Service Pack 1 has already proven to make Vista worse, even at it's current Release Canidate. Service Pack 3 for XP appears to actually boost performance by 10%. You have to ask yourself this. Why not switch the people working on these teams and mix-match? Might end up more productive on both sides, or a version of Vista that actually WORKS.

You know, something people seem to "conveniently" forget is that when Windows XP first came out; it was met with equally as much hate as Vista was now. It was flawed, buggy and unstable compared to Windows 98.

But once it got patched people obviously fell in love with it (this ad proves as much). Vista will likely face the same difficulties and in time will overcome them.

if ur a tech person youll notice how buggy it is, my roommate has it, most of my floor mates have it, and all i here is complains about it, i hear avid windows users complain yes xp was slightly buggy, however the service packs actually fixed it, where the vista service packs have been proven to make problems worse. another thing people dont notice is how many processes vista uses at startup, something like 80+ processes
