He talks about hip hop but only for a little bit. I'm not a hip hop fan by any means but I can see the points he talks about, especially with regards with what kind of hip hop is released to the masses and which is kept out of it. I think that goes with any music. It's easier to release something that has negative messages out into the mainstream but when you get something uplifting and positive, it gets denied and I believe that's what happened in hip hop or rap or whatever you want to call it.
