Overton didn't get a big reaction for holing out from the fairway, either so does that mean Europeans have bad sportsmanship? It actually sounds like more people are cheering for Sergio's putt than Jeff Overton's hole out from the fairway.

I was playing golf recently with My father and his friends, I was swearing and banging clubs and trying to grind out a score.. Dad pulled me aside and said I was no fun to play with anymore.. I had not thought about it that way. I have since realised I was completely missing the point of golf.. I had lost the spirit of it.. My game since improved and I smile when I make a mistake and giggle at how lucky I am to be playing. Lets cheer and pump fists, but lets high five the others that so well too

This isn't about Americans vs. Europeans! The US won this time, but Europe destroyed us the previous few times. The Ryder Cup is one of my favorite sporting events but some people are just too hateful. We should just enjoy the competition and let the best team win!

Sergio won the players. That's one of the big tournaments. Ask any PGA tour pro He'll win a few majors. The guy is still young..Tiger kind of messed it up fro everyone. Normally guys win their first majors in their 30's . Which means he's just about entering that age group.

for people who don't follow golf. it's all about precocious youngsters. If you haven't won a major by 25 you suck ass. Which is really rare. Actually in the last 10 years Tiger's the only 1.
