Boy, that little ugly duckling sure has grown up!! SOOO much better looking. Kia sure have been turning their act around lately.. for the longest time, they did not build a single thing I could see myself in.. Then the Soul came out and I was like "hmm" the forte's nice too, but it looks like a civic and tc's bastard child. And now this!! Way to go Kia!

It looks great theres no denying.....BUT its still a Kia and the driving dynamics are appauling... I recently drove a 2009 Kia Sorento and it was awful, Slow, Handling was dreadful, Ride was uncomfortable, Engine sounded like a Tractor and the quality of the interior was very scratchy and creeky. After saying all that the 7 year warranty and Cheap price tag (compared to its rivals) is going to make this as popular as the previous models.

@bluestarkad17 many makes of car over the years have come in to fix faults.japanese are still the most reliable.i have owned english,german,italian and japanese cars in my life from a lotus espit to a dino,mercs bmw ,audi,fiat and now another audi an a5 and my wife a new mitsubishi lancer sportback 1.8.i love the audi but believe me the new lancer is upthere with it and i should think more reliable.

It's very funny to see the difference between a car enthusiast with objective comment and a bunch of haters/fanboys. While first one see details or bases his comments on facts and relevant information, the second group just throw unfounded comments and negative adjectives without any information to back it up. They say things like "it is rubbish" when in real world the brand is award winner, or "it is a POS", when the model has one of the best quality rates in its segment. Yeah, very funny!!

Well, It seems Hyundai and Kia are doing a great job, even thou new Tucson and new Sportage are in the same segment, I can see they decided to make them different in size and style, while they use the same platform. I see the Tucson elegant and sleek, with a very urban style. The Sportage is bulky, good looking with more off road feeling, it seems it has great ground clearence, I hope it has that good off road performance it appears to have. Hyundai-Kia are paying attention to all tastes. Good.

I'd buy this over a escape, rav4, rogue, equinox, tiguan, tucson, crv in a heartbeat. I give props to the Kia brass for hiring Audi's designers. They are giving inexpensive transportation style and substance.
