Yes, I know! Everywhere else just works around it. Too lazy for work, so any excuse not too! I made it into the castle ok, that morning, from Glasgow. 100 miles each way, on a bicycle. over here we get the grand kids to shovel it away from the paths, roads, and any where else we want them to be....Outside, so that we have peace & quiet in the warmth!!!! lol =)

There was actually a bit more than a few flakes...someone outside my house made an igloo, and another person made a huge snowman using a step ladder. Such a fun day! xD

Well, back in the day (1970's), we all live in Igloos, ate frozen fish ,freshly caught from the Clyde, and were chashed by bloody big hairy elephants!!!! true! Ask your parents! How did they manage to get the snowman to climb the step ladder? Thought they just flew in the air??? lol =)

I see you've been snowed-in up there in Bonnie Scotland. That is indeed the weather for snow shoes and warm over coats. Do keep warm and take this opportinity to eat plenty of hot porrage and perhaps drink some hot cocoa with marshmallows (no vegemite now,ya hear?...lol!)

however much u hate the english...its maybe something to do with london being on average 5degrees warmer than the hottest part of scotland,therefor councils have no emergency freezing plan..i.e grit lorries and snow ploughs etc!! everydays a school day!! does madrid have a snow plough???

Sorry I dont hate the English! Yes, they are warmer than us, & mainly lower than me, above sea level. In fact, if you drive, non stop from Glasgow to London, & get out there, it is hot! So hotter that it melts my Haggis ice cream!!! lol =)
