Japan somehow really reminds of Mexico. Mainly the urban areas such as this one. They share something in common that I can't quite describe. But such things as mom and pop stores and the sort and the way urban areas look. Good thing mom and pop stores here are still everywhere.
That brings back memories of the little momma, papa store near our house when I was a kid. Me and my 2 brothers would run over and pick up a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs or whatever mom needed and the lady that owned the store would ring it up and we would sign the slip and she would file it , and when dad got paid he would go over and pay the monthly bill. This was a long time ago, maybe 65 yrs ago.... Doug...=)
