im 17 years old and today i was working out and i was deadlifting, after a couple of reps when lifting the weight i felt a weird feeling/pain under my stomach above me groin is this a hernia?

@rEcKLesSzzz lol i'd stay away from deadlifts unless you absolutely without a doubt KNOW what perfect form is.

ok, i started deadlifting two days ago, and till today my right side abdomen is in pain , its not like a real bad severe , its just a medium pain, also i did crunches and pull ups, but im not sure why the right side of the abdomen is only hurting.. could this be an hernia??

@BADASSEDWIN i have the same problem. i pulled a really heavy deadlift a few days ago and afterwards i felt some discomfort on the left side of my abs. even a few days later it still is giving me some discomfort. ive looked up alot of things on hernias, and i cant tell whether its just strained muscle or damaged tissue (from my lifting belt digging in from the pressure) or a hernia. theres no noticeable bump? im feeling and i can feel a small bump, very small, but im not sure if thats a hernia.

did you get it removed (or should I say repaired)yet? I got my surgery for it about 6 or so months ago.

i have one,its still here and im 10.that means that im in the 20% area were it dosent close?i feel unlucky.:-(
