John bonham tends to use LRK aswell, and also RLRK, but with the kick really close to the right, giving a triplet sound. there's a really cool fill near the end of stairway to heaven which illustrates this.
try to also vary which note you start the pattern on - e.g - KRL, LKR e.t.c
since im lefty, but play the right handed way,i prefer doin left right kick. like LH on left high tom, righ on the other high tom,,and kick.just a triplet example
@hatinabox1234 ya I think that was the last time I placed the camera in this spot here. Sounds bad, but I'm not there anymore. Have a better room in my home now.
@hatinabox1234 if your just using it for practice it is awesome. Just make sure they will let you play whenever you want and give them a heads up as to what you are using it for. As long as we were in before 10 PM my band could practice all night or even during the day. If you want a good sounding room then that is a definite con, but other than that I don't see anything wrong with it. No neighbors, loud as you want, and it actually forces you to get away from distractions at home like i-net.
Personally I'd tune up all of your drums except your snare. They sound like they're barely tightened up at all, but I mean if you like that sound go for it. One more thing Bonham leads those triplets with his left. A lot of the time he would go rlr-lrb-lrb-lrb... If that makes any sense..

why does your bass/snare combination sound like air being sucked out of a wind tunnel?

Trust me guys I am working with what I have. If I was able to have a fancy studio and a nice camera I would be using that instead.

You need a better room. One that doesn't have echoing metal walls.
Dude I like ur lessons but put some egg cartons or sound foam up.
