I wrote my fathers Eulogy to this music, it completely opened my mind to all the memories I had with him and it helped me understand the true virtues he possessed. Beethoven understand the human soul, his music is evidence of that...
This is an amazing play list. It's been encouraging me along with my papers for uni. and I've just been enjoying it while I haven't been working. Thanks.
Music that is true to the heart. No where else can i find such emotion to fulfill the empty space that runs within me. It truly nurtures my soul. Embracing it in a warmth of passion and hope. It brings feelings of purpose and meaning. The music becomes an infallible force of angelic beauty...
I was wondering if anyone could give some advice on this violin training program? It's put out by a violin teacher named Eric Lewis. I was given a violin for christmas and was given a stupid book that I can't figure out. Looking forward to your comments: Here is the link I found on google:w w w (dot) getgoodreviews (dot) com/go/violin_lessons (dot) php
I've been feeling alot like this piece lately (no not relaxed...melancholy) however, listening to it while study always helps me to be a little more focused somehow as well. (Med school :-/ )
i feel very sorry for Beethoven unable to hear his amazing work he made. he knew his work would be great, he can hear it in his head, but he cannot hear it in front of him. :`(
Delightful. I'm a professional accompanist working with a violin student for her college graduation recital, and we're doing this whole sonata. We listened to this today with the pause button handy and our pencils out - such beautiful playing is an education in itself!
Well it is proven that playing music, especially classical, and to a smaller extent listening to classical music, carves out nerual pathways in ones brain and helps one access information better.
haha, not for me... i was studying for science yesterday while listening to classical music, and i got totally distracted and ended up taking an hour to read one page
i've heard that classical music and opera have been proven to calm, and to make oneself touch their intellectual side... is there any scientific proof of this?
I have this giant test Tomorrow in an AP class, and I was listening to this while i was studying- I melted into my chair, my whole body went from tensed to relaxed. Suddenly, everything doesn't seem so impossible; if this great man could make beautiful music and move me almost to tears and yet, be deaf and never able to hear it, suddenly everything in my life doesn't seem so difficult. Thank you for eating our hearts out and raching our souls Beethoven.
yeah me too. i always try to listen to classical music when i study for AP tests but whenever i hear anything beethoven it always makes me distracted....in a good way :)
obviosly anyone who is deaf and can make such beautiful music is amazing, he's basically my classical music hero and gettin close to me all time favorite of hendrix
Okay... just because Beethoven was an old, cranky, deaf dude doesn't mean he can't write music. Everyone who says crippled people can't write music are wrong: look at Beethoven, you losers! Ha!
Mm... This Sonata truly embodies the soft side of Beethoven. The beauty of this piece shows the potential of soothingness of music. To me, the piece calms and soothes me, just to show how effectivev music can be to the mortal mind. I don't know about the rest of you, but this is one of my favorite pieces. A true masterpiece. Of course, the performers must get credit, and they interpret the piece almost as well as Beethoven could himself. This is the meaning of "music is art."
this sort of music is the kind that you know infinite time and effort was out into so that a masterpiece could be born that will reach into the darkest corner of your soul a takes out all evil and anger to replace it with relaxation and total serenity it made me feel as if the world around me made sense and that true beauty comes from someone who can truly understand human emotions. excellent work ludwid van beethoven may your music live forever
well i just learned that he became deaf later in life, so i don't know when he composed this piece, anyway it's still so movig I play it many times, Bravo Ludwig!
this piece is so gorgeous, what must he have been thinking when he composed this adagio from the spring sonata, i just wonder and knowing that he was deaf, just amazing it makes me very peaceful hearing this, you tube is great it gives you the opportunity to listen to the same piece performed by different musicians. I am hooked!
