It was ok, I mean we only had two practices as a whole band before the concert. My friend messed up the sus. cymbal part. Our band really ins't as great as it could be because no one really practices and ... yeah, there is definatly room for improvement. I would upload videos from the concert, but I don't think my school would like that ... after I graduate (yes, we actualy have a graduation) from 8th grade I'll see if I could just do just the sound.
oh, that really sucks. i think a LOT of school symphonies have played this. we played it this year, and the 8th graders(violins)were sometimes off on the high notes, but the 6th graders(violins)were off on the F naturals. the good thing is that the band atleast covered most of it. XD

This is a very easy song. Usually flutes play the melody but all the other instruments are overpower and you can't hear them. I played it in 6th & practiced with the orchestra for a week b4 the concert. It's like Repercussions.
In the middle, it's disappointing that everyone overpowered the Violas that much. Everyone else is supposed to be quiet so the Viola metzo-piano can be heard, but it practically disappears under everyone else.

This is a very easy song. Usually flutes play the melody but all the other instruments are overpower and you can't hear them. I played it in 6th & practiced with the orchestra for a week b4 the concert. It's like Repercussions.

In the middle, it's disappointing that everyone overpowered the Violas that much. Everyone else is supposed to be quiet so the Viola metzo-piano can be heard, but it practically disappears under everyone else.
Other than that, they did very good.
