  • interior doesn't look bad but the 4th gen tl's 09-present chassis is shit

  • 1:03 - Like seeing a good friend (still own one). Technically, the newer TLs are superior, but I still prefer the third gen look (I know, subject has been beaten to death already)

  • LOL...the fact that the tires chirped on the shift to 2nd gear proves that the Acura AWD system sucks. It's FWD biased, which is the exact opposite of Audi's quattro system.

  • @EvenSteven2004 Actually it's easy to chirp all 4 wheels on an Audi Quattro with MT. Any Audi motor be it the SC V6 or V8 has a ton of torque, far more than a vtec, and let the clutch out quickly enough the wheels will chirp.

  • @7477238 - Actually, it's not easy. I have an Audi quattro MT. The quattro system isn't FWD biased like the Acura. It's all but impossible to get the tires to chirp. On the Acura, you're hearing the front tire (probably only one of them) chirp.

  • a pro driver wouldnt drive and steer with 1 hand or not wear seatbelts. fail

  • nice seatbelt

  • want to race, 2 identicle cars anytime anyday, whatta sham driver

  • the guy talks like a try hard. I hate annoying salesmen like him.

  • nice video what gear did you chirp the tires

  • Does differential help with the turning part you talking about?

  • ahh i need that AWD i got an 06 tryin to drift it with just the front it hard that extra torque looks sick but i still hate the back end

  • I want one!

  • THE ONLY THING IS...THE CAR IS UGLY...

  • @wlandaverde83 they changed the looks for 2012....toned down the "beak" and smoothed out the rear fascia....they look alot better now....sweet car....sounds awesome in the video

  • Do you work at an Acura dealer or something?

  • After test driving a new TSX, I was completely sold on Acura. Unbelievable cars...and that's coming from a die-hard Benz fan/owner!

  • Well since we all are talking about Acura reliability. My rents had an Acura legend coupe with 290,000 miles when we sold it. It was raced, redlined, top out. Sold it to a friend of the fam and he still has it kicking at 420,000 miles. Gotta love Acuras.

  • lmao so much dgaf chirpin into second

  • it sounds good fan of the AWD but all in all i think the new model look's like shit , big fan of the 2004 to 2008 model especially the type S . but the new body is just crap .

  • @Timikitusaki I agree, I think they dropped the ball in terms of trying to bee too different in the exterior styling of the new TL.

But the interior + the new tech features are amazing as Acura always is in that department.

  • I love that engine note!

  • I would prefer this car over the mustang boss 302!

  • i cant believe that jared.

  • 46990$ for that I can get an FX50S and say fck you Acura ;)

  • @Razor4ever FX50s, thats a nice fax machine you bought :)

  • VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!!!

  • Do you know AkAKA Amazing? He's from Brampton too!

  • @JDawg7765 fag

  • Anyone spot the Integra in the video?

  • Nice,if i'm going to get this car one day, it will definitely be the manual trans, WOW!!

  • how many 6 speed are there. i have the old acura legend sedan 6 speed.

  • this was a god review thanks

  • You should hear VTEC lower than 4500 RPM....1 gen TL's sound the same and for the last time THEY ARE NOT VTEC!!! Plus I love Acura's can show you a 3g TL and a 3g RL right now YOU CANNOT HEAR VTEC KICK IN.....YOU HEAR A TRUE HONDA ENGINE. Honda builds the best engines in the world. They just need a full-sized truck. With FWD technology in AWD format, they could possibly dominate.

  • This guy in the video is an example of my theory....pass this along if you agree...

    How Does VTEC work?

VTEC works by means of an engine computer unit or ECU. This ECU monitors oil pressure, vehicle speed, throttle position and engine speed. The low-RPM camshaft is permanently held in place over the valves, but when the ECU judges that the engine is losing fuel efficiency as the RPM climbs.

  • (cont.) It activates a solenoid, which causes the other camshaft to swing down and connect over the original camshaft.Between the lobes on both camshafts, the overall profile of the camshaft is changed to better regulate the valves on the combustion cylinders of the engine.

  • @rtype6 Like I said before I like Acura. However, IMO Acuras don't drive as well as Infinitis do. Infiniti offers a more satisfying driving experience compared to Acura and Lexus as well. In terms of luxury, Infiniti takes the cake once again. I will agree that Acuras are more reliable. And yes, Infinitis are much more attractive than Acuras : )

  • @Jmoneyy100 Nissan and infiniti are the two shittiest japanese auto makers on the planet. Bullshit an infiniti drives better than acura. How can you compare that beautiful acura interior that won't make a creak or rattlle after 100k mils to a stupid plastic nissan interior....man i've seen the inside of a G35...cheap! it's what turned me away from infiniti in the first place.

  • @posvibration21 The older model G35s had a plasticky interior but the fit and finish was good, solid and no squeaks or rattles but it didn't look too great. Performance was excellent though.

  • @rtype6 I like Acura as well, but please don't go there

  • @Jmoneyy100 Acura is better. We've been buying since 1992. Back then my dad bought an Integra. He gave it to me in 2003. I then paid him for it. From 2003-2009 I've been redlining it all the time I drove. I then sold it and the current owner still has it working fine. The current owner is a slob. Here's the good part. The car has over 400,000km and NEVER had a problem. Engine still sounds new and the clutch is still the original... CONTINUE>>

  • @Jmoneyy100 Also, my rents bought a TL and RL years back. Same thing. Now, last year they were looking for a new car which ain't an Acura. They test drove the new Infiniti G37 and M models. My dad said the cars were beautiful but they didn't drive as good. The braking and steering didn't seem right. He then test drove the new TL and said it drove much better. So he bought another TL. Honda/Acura are the most reliable and depreciate very slowly. We just don't like the look of them.

  • it sounds awesome!

  • Acura has much better engineering than Infiniti. The only thing hurting Acura is the design/look of the cars. The front grill especially.

  • nice car too bad infiniti is making Acura almost invisible loll

  • Good vid man. Glad to see someone driving that car like they mean it; most of the time I just see old people plodding about in those (makes one wonder "what's the point of driving such a car if you're going to drive it like an old slow Buick?").

Funny how the TL has eclipsed the RL!

The RL better come back as a Bippu RWD V8 if it is to stand a chance.

  • DAMN! that sounds good !

  • its a shift ? :( damn.....

  • Just got a 2011 model yesterday, loving it so far! I really like the 2011 compared to the 2012. It looks more unique in a way. It is indeed fun to drive. Although, I wish I could have gotten those cooled seats in mine, but heated will do. Great car Acura, great car indeed.

  • nice job man

  • he forgot he had a back up camera.

also, thats what u do with cars before selling?

  • Lovely!

  • hey, that guy looks like Adam Levine!!!!!

  • manual FTW

  • Very I addictive . I need to buy this car, it the best in handling . I will for all the corners, and probably I will not get a speeding ticket , because I will still be within the speed limit.

That's best practical explanation for SH-AWD

  • Very addictive

  • DAMN. Love the sound of that 3.7L V6 ;)

  • @xoquixxoqafxo Very addictive

  • @xoquixxoqafxo I have to say It would sound good with a intake

  • Would u recommend the manual for die hard integra drivers. Is it too much to handle for everyday use?

  • @acuratlnigga I was a big Integra Type R fan/owner and this car reminded me a lot of it, but with just a better over all balance of everyday driving. So the answer is 100% you’ll love it!! Short shift, heavy solid feel with that SH AWD and the engine WOW unreal that’s all I can say. If you’re from the Toronto area I can send a driver out to you for a road test or make an appointment with any of the sale staff, hope that helps 1-877-227-1213.
