Portugal and Ireland are perfect showcases of what EU can bring to poor countries. Both have prospered enormously and so will Bulgaria and Romania. God bless Europe!

Exactly, both countries were poor before entering the EU and look at them now! They both have one of the highest economic growth rates in Europe.

I hope they prosper, pity they aren't being given any freedom of movement, especially as 10% of Romania's population has allready left, so I doubt that there would be a big wave of migration.
