Michael Rosenbaum did this scene to perfection, This scene is how Lex Luthor should be portrayed all the time.

The evil inside him and the ability once embracing his dark side and his destiny to be able to control (Superman) and the kents with ease was perfect, and then the whole I am the villain of the story was amazing. Easily the best Lex Luthor scene ever!.

The problem I have is how they crammed everything into the final hour to sort out. The first hour was pretty useless since it was entirely centred on on marriage drama. I have no problem with this but it could have been done better. The only two storyline that they addressed was the marriage and Oliver's Omega problem.

I watched Smallville because of Michael Rosenbaum's portrayal of LL.. and also because of Kristin Kreuk's portrayal of a character which represented a possibility in Clark's life that was destined to not happen...
