  • @Krismac242

well I mean equally important they got vibe for the riddims from rap music.. especially at the time this video was shot and forward. Mutual.

  • @Krismac242 Of course, but dancehall come griot tradition of West Africa.

  • wow really where r u getting ur info from no disrespect

  • @Krismac242 and fucking reggaeton! what a shame for this genre!

  • @hoboSex ok yes I see, cool, thanks.

  • why do they have 2 mics like that?

  • @digitalkillaz Two mics will give a more rich and diverse harmonic balance of the vocals. This gives more definition. Sometimes engineers will do this when occasionally using the second mic for delay and effects but that signal will rarely be sent through the sound system for dramatic effect. But this does not seem to be the case in this situation.

  • no gully no gaza? Check your history brother. PnP / JLP. same thing just dealt with differently

  • It started with actual music in the 60's and 70's. Then in the 80's it started to be more about slackness, then it went digital, then it got to be more and more about guns and dudes posing, pushing the girls out of the way, now it's just a big sausage fest of guys bigging eachother up and fighting over their crews. No more music inna it from long time.

  • BEST PART IS WHEN THE MAN IS SHOUTING IN THE MIC WID SUPERCAT LOL

  • big up all the trini's, yardies, vincey, baygons, the whole west indies. this video represent original music, respect, love and peace... big respect to " christofxyz" yuh fabulous, they crack yuh thermos.... one luv for this.... this video save me,,serious talk fadda

  • they brought it to new york and gave the idea pretty much of rap since jamaicans have more of a rythm and soul hip hop itself turned into a bad copy of this and evolved into more of a sound effect music for the breakdancers .. they had sum gay shit just look up early 80s rap its like" im so close to the edge haha mc hammer was pretty gay too

  • @RIPtenorSaw - yeah even afrikaa bambatta has west indian heritage.... they were involved in bronx gangs...and thats how they linked up with jamaicans like DJ Kool Herc...and then rap came from that. That's why I find it ironic that most rap nowadays is about violence....when it started it was for them to escape bronx violence...just like dancehall reggae started to escape the violence in Kingston. Both of them are perverted nowadays. Now rap and dancehall promote violence.
