We got our silver-back chinchilla persian cat (Precious) in 1994, when she was 10 weeks old. She was with us for 17 and one-half years until she died two weeks ago. She was a wonderful companion and all our family has had a very rough time dealing with her loss. The little one above reminds us of our cat. Precious actually picked us out when we went to the breeder. We were looking at another kitten and precious walked up to me, looked at me as if to say "take Me". I did just that.
Guys? do you know what the difference is between a percian cat and a chinchilla?I like this one very much, especially because it has not that typical flat snout like percian cats usually have, but im not sure what is the difference between these two breeds. I would appriciate very much if you answered:)

wipe eyes with Optrex regularly. brush coat with slicker brush from day one to get then used to it but make it fun for them (gentle) !!
then you have no probs keeping double coat knot free when they are older. Sometimes talc helps.

persian Chinchilla cats have a slight diferent color.
mostly white hair with black tips @ the end of every hair (ticking its called i believe)
