  • awsome vid love the gunshot noise cracks me up!!! cool vid!

  • @Tbladepro Glad you had a laugh mate, all the videos on here are supposed be light hearted. We have a ball it is a ripper sport! Thanks for stopping by and watching. Safediving see you out there!

  • what kind of gun you got...im guessing death stick cuz it looks like one and your name is dstick.

  • @splinb The gun in Vid ia a Riffe Islander - and it is a weapon for sure! Got the new Aimrite gun now and that is just a Death wand :) Cheers for watching

  • @dstick1 wht s the best camera u adive me for spearfishing..?thx

  • @t10parwani HD Video cams give the best vid - but cost a bomb :( . When Go pro get thier underwater cam housing sorted out this will be a winner :). Right now, the safest option is to get a 10m water resistant camera like a panasonic lumix and get an IKELITE housing for it. If you get a leak - wont be the end of your day :)

  • lol how come you cant fart in your suit

  • @rngepkn33b - bubbles look funny on the big screen ;-)

  • Great vid mate love the captions

  • Cheers for that mate, glad you enjoyed the show!

  • hey nice vid where abouts in wa is this????

  • Thanks for taking the time to watch the vid. We were up North Round DHHI, was great fun, Shame about the low vis, but you get that!

  • haha just wondering if youve ever dived up near dampier aswell by the way????

  • Yea when I was younger, lived up in Derby for a while - bad vis there LOL!!

  • do you know if the seac sub arrow 75 any good? and how far from shore is it?

  • @jetmea Just sent you a pm about the gun - its easier to post links etc. Cheers for watching vid!

  • @jetmea How far from shore is the video shot? We had to use a boat to get there and were diving off a small island in this vid about 50meters from the island cliffs.

  • i just got a new omer cayman carbon know anything about them?

  • What? You win the lottery LOL!! I've heard good reports from the boys about them, never used one though! Hope you kill the pig with that!

  • heyy man exellent video, i just wanted to ask you how deep you are diving?

  • Cheers for that mate, glad you enjoyed it! It was a shame the viz wasn't any better. We were diving from 5m to 15m for those. Cheers

  • yeah the viz wasn't too bad at least we can still see you spearing, thanks alot much appreciated!

  • Good eating?

  • Mate it would be fair to say they are damn good on the tooth! Nice firm white flesh. I rate them!

  • Cheers from FNQ,nice video, the black spot tuskie is my favorites.

  • Thanks fo the watching man, and I'm with you - quality fish right up there! Hope the fishing is good your way!

  • nice video mate

  • Many Thanks for that mate, thanks for dropping by and watching.

  • hold still and throw sand, you'll get more tusks.

  • It's a nice trick alright. Works well on the Parrots here, but any movement near the tuskies or in the general area spooked them and would make them crack thier tails causing the others to take flight. Just had to sit still and wait for thier curiosity to get the better of them! Cheers for watching

  • hey nice vid!5/5. i have a rob allen sparid 900 (90cm) with a 7mm double notch spear.i was wondering i you could give me some advice on putting a 18mm rubber, 2 x 16mm rubbers or 2 x 18mm rubbers.overpowered?

  • Hey Thanks for the rating and watching! I'll PM you some details on your sparid. Couple of factors to be careful of powering it up - need to know how old it is or more importantly how old the mechanism is in it. Cheers for the comments :)

  • i got a ra tuna with 2 16mm 7.5mm double notch spear and it does the job. u only need more rubbers for distance. and u dont really need bigger then 2 16s

  • Yea , look to be fair I recon 2 x 16's is the go, just that the Sparid was not built to the same specs as the Tuna. The mech's had problems a while back where loading them up with twins caused a fail and the spear would launch on it's own. Plastic mechs hmmm.....

  • Love the new intro. Well done.Dont u just luv. the spearing up NTH. Nice ground, nice fish, warm water. There is nothing like it. Good 2 c some new stuf.Well done!

  • Cheers man, nice to have you back LOL. Up north - my dreams at night sigh! Cheers for the comments, have some new footage as I have a new camera now. Got some more vids to come - work is slaughtering me though;}{ The intro freaked out some kids hey:0 I'll have to regig another with out so much howling LOL!!!

  • lovely fish and a beautiful Riffe. What model ya use ?

  • Cheers for watching mate, the fish were cracker. The Riffe I am using is a gem of a gun , it is a Riffe Islander.

  • nice one!

loled my ass off at the fart comment

hey whats the immersion wettie like, im in the market for a new one

  • Hey mate you are back hey! Welcome home! The Immersion Wettie has been really nice - hard to get them now I believe? Cressi is making a nice open cell , more reefy camo as well. Have a look at that too. They all behave the same if you fill them with air LOL!! Glad you enjoyed!

  • Do you hold the Speargun like a rifle, propped against your shoulder, or do you hold it strait and shoot with your elbows locked?

  • I hold it with both my arms infront of me, then i can aim ;)

  • You do this with a Riffe with all bands loaded?

  • Hey there, Thanks for dropping by and watching. I Always use a straight arm locked elbow with the Riffe. You don't want to have that beast locked into your shoulder when a rubber lets go LOL. I shot centre fire Rifles, and tried the shoulder position and realised that underwater you are in very different positions sometimes and you can find yourself trying to minimise your profile and maximise your range with the straight arm. Never use a bent elbow in front of your face either LOL!!

  • u hold it out in front of u like a pistol. it doesn't have kick back

  • It has kick back because it is a mid handle. Riffe even have it as a caution on thier website. The physics beind it involve the pivot of the handle being in front of the release point of the spear. It is one of the enduring charms of this gun and the reasons I love it LOL. You know you have pulled the trigger when you load all three of the 5/8 rubbers to max - Trust me!! :}}

  • very nice catch david!!!!!

your gun is a bazookaaaa ;)

  • Many thanks my friend! It is funny what you think of as you pull the trigger LOL :}

  • thanks for the comment on my channel i aint gunna be makin much vids anymore since i have to move to the uk so there aint much point in gettin a underwater camera. thanks anyway

  • nice vid were abouts

  • Cheers for watching mate! Pissed about the Vis, but you get that! We were running up North near DHHI. You Travelling with Z up there soon? I can't go due to a new arrival - and it's not an order from Adreno!!!

  • What is the name of the song and the band?

  • Hey there, Thanks for watching! Song "Do You See What I See? " By Hunters and Collectors.

    Cheers

  • bad vis ruins my dive your lucky youve got so many fish

  • Bad vis ruins everyones dive day LOL! It was hard work! Cheers for stopping by and watching

  • You seem to enjoy such activity Dstick1

  • LOL It'd be fair to say such activities are a hoot. You should talk to Orca the Cressiman about such things and bring him out of retirement!

  • Man the Vid is heaps better in HD, couldn't see much in normal veiw, was wondering how you were able to see anything to shoot! Nice work Bro - keep shooting safe diving

  • Ha ha ha the vis was pretty bad, but there was good fish to be had. Thanks for watching!

  • very nice, makes me want to go for a dive!

  • nice video And a nice place

  • Many Thanks for your kind comments! I wish I had access to all the fish I see in your video's LOL!! You are right though, we live in a very nice place!! Thanks for watching, more vids to come!

  • Ha ha ha 1:23, looked like you blew the fish to bits too!! Thanks for creeping me out with the openning!

  • Cheers mate, glad you like the finer touches LOL. Soz about the openning, was trying to jaz it up a bit!! Thanks for watching!

  • nice video. but i would be afraid to pull 3 or even 2 rubbers in that murky water.

    keep it up

  • Man I've seen your video's , you'd go out and bang em too! It's just a head re set to get the mind back into order!! It can make you edgy but! Thanks for watching!

  • good one mate

nice and dirty was this around exmouth at all

how's your camera holding up being mounted to that cannon

  • Hey thanks for watching, was a bit further south than Exy for this trip down along the coast line. Funny you ask about the camera mounting LOL, that's half my problem. I tore the tripod mounting out of a sony housing with this gun's recoil. I am still evolving the mounting system so it has some give in it, but that means it can go out of whack sometimes....Cheers for watching!

  • Nice shooting. These guys seem spooky....offers a challenge.

  • Thanks for dropping by and watching! Yea they really are cagey, don't like any noise - bubbles makes them scatter and the dominant fish will make a thump noise that will send fish in all directions to hide if it is spooked. Was a fun challenge!! Cheers for the comments

  • Nice Shootin'

BTW, spooky low vis, eh....(like 25 feet?).

  • Crikey that was quick USCM - I'm like still trying to sort the upload out LOL! Yea vis was really eerie, around 15ft on some of the dives. Spooky was the Tiger that helped himself to about 14kgs of fish on my floatline. Only saw him on the surface thrashing around on my Stainless Steel cable. Spent a fair bit of time just staring and waiting to see if he was going to eat my float or come over and introduce himself up close and personal like! Brrrrr Thanks for watching and Rating BTW cheers ;}
