  • the only Queensryche cd my Best Buy ever has is their greatest hits and this song isn't on it!!! WHY?!?! :(

  • best concept rock album ever owned

  • one of the best albums ever! timeless

  • Operation: Mindcrime is by far the greatest Cd that I have listened to.

  • I feel a lot of Iron Maiden style in this.

  • @kamba44 Queensryche have always been pretty open about their Maiden influences. They were and still are , very influenced by Iron Maiden. I actually got to see both Maiden and Queensryche ( with Rob Halford) all together in 2000. Great fucking show

  • @clockworkmike83: Yeah I saw that line up in Phoenix when Maiden was on their Brave New World Tour. It was the best concert I had seen up until that time. Then Maiden blew me away with their Somewhere Back in Time tour.

  • @Zecryphon The Somewhere Back in Time Tour was top notch. Probably it and the Brave New World Tours were the best I ever saw Maiden. I saw them during Ozzfest 05 ( the infamous year when Maiden was 'egged' on stage by shitbags under orders from Sharon Osbourne) and I saw them on the Final Frontier tour as well. All years were great, but those two that you've seen as well were some of Maiden's top ever

  • @kamba44 i'm not agree... their style didn't remember Iron Maiden... but they're both Great!! That's sure...

  • Anybody who appreciates Queensryche should be VOTING RON PAUL 2012.

We've all been LIVING this album for 60 years now.

  • going to see them in 9 days also!!! cant wait!!

  • this is definatly my favorite band and album!!

  • One of the top 3 albums to come out of the 80's

  • @deathrind to me, this is one of the top 3 albums off all time. I can't get enough of it.

  • Saw this in concert, wow it was cool. I had never seen anything else like it, very theatrical.

  • I love this band Blew me away in concert

  • One of the greatest concept albums ever, personally I put it up there with Pink Floyds "The Wall"

  • @Bigdaddycaldwell I agree!

  • anybody else think Geoff Tate looks like Q from star trek

  • yeah right....Fuck the new world order for brainwashing your kids

  • @uskutelite This songs not about the NWO... The album is about a junkie who get's brain washed about an underground group to perform assassinations for them.

  • Why am i stuck in todays society where nobody apreciates these amazing bands ??

  • Lyrically one the better Metal Bands out there

  • ive seen these guys more times than any band....first time was with metallica in daytona bch at ocean center...live shows...flawless!

forgot a at end of metallica hehe

  • @MrDarklurkker hey I was at that show also...drove all the way down there from NYC just to see Queensryche...it was on the And Jusitice for all tour it fucking rocked!

  • ive seen these guys more times than any band....first time was with metallic in daytona bch at ocean center...live shows...flawless!

  • i think music now has gone above and beyond this time period with bands like ffdp or a7x, and many others that just will go on for age.BUT metallica is my favorite rock/thrash/metal band and they will last for EVER!!!

  • This song is mostly about the message dude.

  • in the 80's, it was all about the Guitars, Show, and Vocals.....THAT IS WHAT'S MISSING TODAY!!!!!! I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bobbyofmystery now its all about whining and telling everyone how your mommy didnt love you...

  • @bobbyofmystery Do you hear how loud the bass is? and dont hate drummers =(

  • @Drumzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz True, I think he's just speculating that most music today has only (fake) drums and bass.

  • @bobbyofmystery you forgot bass that actually has a voice and isn't shadowing the guitar

  • @JDawg73093 don't worry, we were the minority back then anyways...keep the torch burning

  • LADY KAKA GET THE FUCK OUT FROM MY SCREEN >< !!

  • The modern Rock bands have trouble obtaining half the power and greatness of the 1980's Rock Legends.

  • @huntergersbach Could not agree more. About the only band today that could compete would be Halestorm.

  • Doctor X called - he wants you assholes to go jump off a cliff. Big time, big time

  • Dale dale Queensryche la puta madre que lo parió!!!!

  • How did they go from this to Dedicated to Chaos?

  • @GrayLeader2184 24 years. that's how...

  • Get the video of the album It fuckin rock's.Better than anything Pink Floyd put out.

  • @napa15mw umm do you want to retract that statement?

  • This is a band I have seen so many times and they are better & better live each time. I have seen them in several states and each show was sicker than the other, The sound is awesome. I will be seeing them again July, 31 2011 at The Chance in upstate NY. Look out NY, Here they come again, Who you ask? Only one of the top 3 bands ever formed. Thanks for the post emimusic, U ROCK!!!

  • queeeeeeeensryyyyychhheeee!!!! these guys frikin kick major ass!

  • one of my favorite consept albums

  • Up the Ryche!

  • best conceptual album ever made!

  • @theclansman91 I would definately agree that it is one of the best, up there with a couple of Pink Floyd albums!

  • @theclansman91 no, Chemical Wedding is the best. lol

  • @theclansman91 They're making it into a musical now, should be brilliant.

  • @Jcthefluteman Really? It sounds awesome, must look after it! Thanks 4 the info

  • I remember buying this album from the bargain bin(5 bucks or something), and what I got was a priceless masterpiece in metal music!

  • One of the best Queensryche songs.

  • my nephew in law changed my life when he sat me down in a chair , put headphones on me and said 'listen to this.' 20 years later & a queensryche tatoo & theyre still my favorite metal band.

  • First concert I ever went to, one off in Engerland. They did rock oh for my youth, they were amazing. how everyone wants there first concert to be. Sure seen better now, sure not as naive as I was then. But man they were good live.

  • VEVO sucks!

  • @MasterJediDude this is EMI men wake up

  • oldes love em rock at its best !

  • that's mean resource

  • fantasticA!!!

    sound, stile, musica, voce... PERFETTA!!!!

  • im 16 and my father and i are big fans of this one day my dad and i were going to work and he was like "Stephen where the hell is my queensryche cds!!!" lol that was the first ti,me i heard them and i was blown away

  • BRILLANT!

  • Its great there are some teens who can appreciate this music, the 80s and 90 were great, I listen to some new bands and music, but this stuff stills bets most of it. by the way I have attended to many live concerts, in the US, south america and Europe. (last one been U2 in mexico city, last month, with over 100,000 people in a stadium). but by far, one of the best, was the first time I heard Queensryche, it was at the majestic theater in San Antonio, tx in the 90's... it was...just magic...

  • VERY GOOD!

  • Christ that's dull.Never song writers were they

  • im 16 and i love this kinda music i wish i was alive when this stuff was popular todays music is crap compared to this stuff

  • @giantsrock21 we didnt live the 90's (not refering to this album) as teenagers, therefore we didnt experience the greatness of metal at its peak...poor us

  • @Alejop1995 totally agreed it sucks

  • @giantsrock21 Same dude,im 16 to and i feel the same exact way. my dads taught me well tho

  • @TheNecromancer71 haha yeah my old mans taught me well to and they were awsome when i saw them live

  • I miss Queensryche, they were one-of-a-kind and will outlive the 80's metal period!

  • Clearly a must have, but got soft after Chris left

  • the best singer the best drum sound the best solo the best in every point

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent metal. And yes everyone should have this in thier collection

  • Screw your debut album!! Vevo sucks!!!

  • is he Lorenzo Lamas? lol

  • I swear Geoff has the best voice in metal.

  • Comment removed

  • 1:41 Is that Dio?? It looks just like him.

  • Operation: Mindcrime?....Inception?

  • great song..love them but some bad hair lol

  • @ssubkitty it was the 80's man

  • the greatest album ever......and the story that it tells is amazing

  • His hair doesn't move..

  • we're a undergroud revolution! yep!

  • his outfit and hairstyle not go well with the song, I felt.

  • nice performace thanks .. :))

  • One of the most original and talented bands. The album is one wonderfully dark story!

  • holy fuckerballs i have that exact same guitar that Chris is playing! :O

  • Music was so much better back then...

  • Russian Roulette anyone?

  • @chiyuubi

    was just listenning to it

  • That bassline is delicious >:]

  • You know what's crazy, Geoff can still sing this way. Most singers' voices deteriorate real bad by his age. Look at a guy like Don Dokken. Even though Don is 5 years older.

  • @GuitarArmy95 Yeah bro, I'm a big Dokken fan and I can't even stand to listen to Don anymore. I think Tate takes better care of his health and his voice than Don. When I saw Dokken in '99, the bastard was chain-smokin' during the set, though he did still sound great then.

  • The comforting thing to know is that Justin Bieber and all the other prepubescent teeniebopper manufactured hype "singers" will be wallowing in their own shit in a nursing home some day, known only as "the old fucker in room 12" while Geoff Tate will be revered as a god for all eternity

  • Dear Vevo, Let me start by sayin get your fuckin corporate asses off youtube! Ever since these big companies started paying off the Artist & youtube so they could CONTROL the artists videos. I would pay them a Fee for the vid yet can't because of MIDDLEMEN whom profit OFF the ARTIST...FUk OFF..

  • queensryche rules...

  • qheensryche rules...

  • I first watched this video in Okinawa japan in 1992 Outside Camp Foster in a bar next to Popeyes just out the gate accross the street.

  • I first watched this video in Okinawa japan in 1992

  • I recommend googling up Gulen Charter Schools, obama muslim adviser gulen, tucson weekly hidden agenda,.....forignors fill rank of charter schools spead the word. 150 charter schools ran by this group and growing..........

  • Dzięki takim kompozycjom świat staje się zupełnie inny. "Mindcrime" było i jest arcydziełem! I tak naprawdę smakuje jeszcze lepiej gdy dojrzało przez te wszystkie lata!

  • I wish I wasn't the only person in my school that loves all the great bands of this time >.<

  • @JDawg73093 totally agree. no one in my school has even heard of queensryche!

  • @JDawg73093 I know, tis lame how everyone else is lame.

  • @JDawg73093 Trust me you're not. This was one of my favorite bands! I just can't believe the crap they play these days and try and pass it off as creative music! HA! Bands like Queensryche could run circles around these new generation of turd burgling music!

  • @JDawg73093 why it makes you unique who cares wat other ppl think

  • @JDawg73093 I put up with the same thing when I was in high school, and I graduated 34 years ago! While I was listening to Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc, my friends were listening to KC and the Sunshine Band, Average White Band (AWB), and other crap like that. I still listen to hard/heavy/metal rock, and am still the minority, so don't let it bother you too much, there are enough of us out there to keep this genre alive. BTW, Queensryche is one of my all time favorite bands.

  • @JDawg73093 Don't worry, it is great having better taste than everyone else. Besides, true individuals love being unique.

  • If I were stranded on an island this is the one CD I would want to have. Geoff Tate has one of the best voices ever.

  • BELLISSIMA... o se preferite VERY VERY FUCKNG AWESOME!!!!!!!

Li ascoltavo a 15 anni, sempre fantastici.

    Ciao, Alessandro!

  • my favorite Queensryche song of all time off my favorite album of all time suh a good song

  • i've only listened to operation mindcrime, what album should i listen next?

  • @NatureInBlack : In my opinion the best albums alongside Mindcrime are Empire and Rage for Order, if you're into hard rock i suggest you to pick Empire, if you're more into prog. metal pick Rage for Order.

For me, everything they done until Promised Land (that one included) is perfect, some songs on Q2K are good (especially "The Right Side of my Mind"), Tribe is good too (DeGarmo help them with some songs) but is nothing like the classics.

  • @AdrianoLima88 valeu cara :D

  • @NatureInBlack Gotta pick up Warning (pre-Mindcrime). Every song is epic.

  • Awesome vid for an awesome song!

Also, the drums look like they were nicked from an Alice Cooper set. :')

  • gettin a guitar that looks like wiltons esp in this vid for xmas ))

  • If you want revolution in music listen to these Queensrÿche's albums: "The warning", "Rage for order", "Operation: mindcrime".

By the way, the videos "Video:mindcrime" and "Operation livecrime" are no less than magic!!!

  • @davidsanful

I'd have to agree that the Queensryche videos did actually MEAN something, the story was represented in the the video along with the band. A good mix of music/ideas/storyline. Back when metal used to have themes, and that's why I was hooked on Queensryche and no other metal band.

  • this was my first album i have bought in 1988 when, i turned into a QUEENSRYCHE Fan from than on " I don't believe in love " was my favorite LOL and it still is

  • The first four albums, this one included, were awesome! What the hell happened?!!

  • Yeah...best band ever!!!!

  • Can't they just make a playlist of this album somewhere...?

  • fantastic band!

  • I've had this since day one. I'll always be a fan.

  • Greatest Metal Album Ever Produced, Best Mixed album, greatest singer ever, awesome concept, and its freaking Queensryche!

  • @RandomShortsMedia That would be Master of puppets!

  • @szor1 Are you kidding? Master of Puppets isn't even Metallica's best, let alone the best of all time. Plus, Queensryche blows Metallica out of the water when it comes to songwriting and album composition.

  • @szor1 not MOP. TNOTB, Paranoid or Powerslave

  • This is the top metal band in history for me..Geoff's voice and acting ability are both awesome and awe-inspiring,,this album is a story..so popular they had to make Mindcrime II.They need to make a movie for the big screen combining both!

  • I saw these dudes on there first full album. They opened for kiss in 84 or 85. They fucking kicked kisses ass because they were new and kiss was old. Kiss is still old just trying to make money any which way they can. I hope thier producuer and wife and lawsuite babes are happy they are paying for that Queensryche is now old too, let's hope they continue somthing

  • their best album. their 2010 concert tour SUCKED.!

  • Operation: Mindcrime BEST EVER!

  • 0:17 to 0:21

That is either the most epic or most pathetic thing I've ever seen. I'm leaning towards epic.

  • @TwoCows23 I dont know man, its pretty cheesy. Then again I suppose it was the 80's

  • @ChromeXk Blasphemy

  • I still have the tour shirt for this album, Sweet dreams you Bast*%#d!

  • i grew up with these guys...my all-time favorite band...check out Rage For Order for some realllly heavy sh**!!!!

  • @yojames85 i have rage on vinal i agree

  • @brettriskin I love Surgical Strike. >.>
