@kamba44 Queensryche have always been pretty open about their Maiden influences. They were and still are , very influenced by Iron Maiden. I actually got to see both Maiden and Queensryche ( with Rob Halford) all together in 2000. Great fucking show
@clockworkmike83: Yeah I saw that line up in Phoenix when Maiden was on their Brave New World Tour. It was the best concert I had seen up until that time. Then Maiden blew me away with their Somewhere Back in Time tour.
@Zecryphon The Somewhere Back in Time Tour was top notch. Probably it and the Brave New World Tours were the best I ever saw Maiden. I saw them during Ozzfest 05 ( the infamous year when Maiden was 'egged' on stage by shitbags under orders from Sharon Osbourne) and I saw them on the Final Frontier tour as well. All years were great, but those two that you've seen as well were some of Maiden's top ever
Finally Some Intellegent People The album is about a junkie who get's brain washed to perform assassinations for them.but there is a big twist too It's for the CHURCH if I'm Not Mistaken (disclaimer)Just look at the saroundings Their Albums are A continus story

i think music now has gone above and beyond this time period with bands like ffdp or a7x, and many others that just will go on for age.BUT metallica is my favorite rock/thrash/metal band and they will last for EVER!!!
Geoff Tate is a brilliant singer and person. I just saw him in a great movie called “Programming the Nation.” I’d love to hear everybody’s thought on it. It’s a politically charged documentary based around subliminal messaging. bit. ly/pVmk9U
This is a band I have seen so many times and they are better & better live each time. I have seen them in several states and each show was sicker than the other, The sound is awesome. @giantsrock21 we didnt live the 90's (not refering to this album) as teenagers, therefore we didnt experience the greatness of metal at its peak...poor us
You know what's crazy, Geoff can still sing this way. Most singers' voices deteriorate real bad by his age. Look at a guy like Don Dokken. Even though Don is 5 years older.
@GuitarArmy95 Yeah bro, I'm a big Dokken fan and I can't even stand to listen to Don anymore. I think Tate takes better care of his health and his voice than Don. When I saw Dokken in '99, the bastard was chain-smokin' during the set, though he did still sound great then.
The comforting thing to know is that Justin Bieber and all the other prepubescent teeniebopper manufactured hype "singers" will be wallowing in their own shit in a nursing home some day, known only as "the old fucker in room 12" while Geoff Tate will be revered as a god for all eternity

@JDawg73093 I put up with the same thing when I was in high school, and I graduated 34 years ago! While I was listening to Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc, my friends were listening to KC and the Sunshine Band, Average White Band (AWB), and other crap like that. @szor1 Are you kidding? Master of Puppets isn't even Metallica's best, let alone the best of all time. Plus, Queensryche blows Metallica out of the water when it comes to songwriting and album composition.
This is the top metal band in history for me..Geoff's voice and acting ability are both awesome and awe-inspiring,,this album is a story..so popular they had to make Mindcrime II.They need to make a movie for the big screen combining both!
I saw these dudes on there first full album. They opened for kiss in 84 or 85. They fucking kicked kisses ass because they were new and kiss was old. Kiss is still old just trying to make money any which way they can. I hope thier producuer and wife and lawsuite babes are happy they are paying for that Queensryche is now old too, let's hope they continue somthing

Greatest Metal Album Ever Produced, Best Mixed album, greatest singer ever, awesome concept, and its freaking Queensryche!

@RandomShortsMedia That would be Master of puppets!

@szor1 Are you kidding? Master of Puppets isn't even Metallica's best, let alone the best of all time. Plus, Queensryche blows Metallica out of the water when it comes to songwriting and album composition.

@szor1 not MOP. TNOTB, Paranoid or Powerslave

That is either the most epic or most pathetic thing I've ever seen. I'm leaning towards epic.
