My old house is in this video. I was 6 years old when this happened. The time on here is 3:21. Our pool cage went into our kitchen. Our cats were in the hurricane, and thank GOD that they lived, but they were traumatized and died soon after. We had to live in a RV for 6 months, and the city tore down the house and we had to leave. It was horrible.
I was one of the radio amateurs that manned the FEMA Command Center in Port Charlotte after the Hurricane. I responded out of Brevard County on Florida's east coast.
I hope and pray you're coming back to a semblance of normalcy after the terrible destruction I witnessed first hand.

I lived off harbor blvd when the storm hit right near the beach complex.

Wow that brought back memories...we stayed at southport square. Definately something that will never be forgotten.

My friend and his family hid in a closet during this and his mom made him get the mail during the eye of the storm hahahaha
