@Azureecosse The Lexus Rx was never meant to be an off road car. I own a 2006 Rx400h and a Subaru Legacy Gt 08. I hardly drive my Rx when its snowy terrible at everything. My Subaru though has yet to get stuck. I have some experience in this field i own both. And i believe it doesn't matter where they are tuned more of what type of tires they have on ;). The Lsd on the subaru or Evo would be a major help in not digging its self a hole.

You clearly missed the fact for example the Nissan patrp (which btw has limited slip diffs) s no power applied and virtually coasts to a stop. It doesn't even dig in spraying snow on in incline. Just a lot of work to make a pointless test. As for lexus, they drove it only 1/3of the speed/momentum oh the x5 and Volvo, hence it didn't get as far.

This is a steep hill. Not all cars can make the same speed, depends on engine, weight and transmission. Thats why the Audi has more speed than the Patrol. Audi has the engine in front of the front wheels, this is the best recipie for this test, but not for other stuff. So dont be sad all you others that dont drive quattro. Your cars are probably better at other things. No need to get angry, just admitt that Audi was great at this test.

The main difference is the tires not the cars.

Subaru AWD system is better than any of these tested. Audi's Quattro system is good on Torsen AWD models but others use Haldex AWD which is terrible. Plus Subaru have Symettrical drivetrains and Low ratio 'boxes.

I work at a dealer that sells Audi, BMW, and Mercedes, and I used to sell Subaru. I've driven them all in the snow. Audi is the best, followed by Subaru. Benz and BMW are about the same, but still better than Lexus and Volvo.
