The only good thing about MLB 2K9 is the crowd reactions, because in MLB 09, the crowd is to computeriezed. But other then that, MLB 09 is much, much better.

i think the pitches look slower for a reason ...now that u cant guess pitch in this game its a better way to get to see the ball better and make contact with....in my opinion

I think the people graphics are 3% better than "MLB 09 the show" but backround and sound is about 6% better on "MLB 09 the show" and game wise this is more accurate compared to real life but they throw like a little too slow so they should make that a faster in the next years version.
