This movie is very weak compared to Exorcist films of the 70's plus they stole many ideas from Lord of Illusions (1995) with Famke Janssen. It wasn't bad film but just very disappointing. The Exorcism of Emily Rose was more impressive too

The 1st, 3rd, and this I think are the scary ones in the series, but I'm happy for all of them. The prequels are very underated. This brought the horror we saw from the original back along with some rather cary changes like that upside down crucixfiction scene in the beginning, but Dominion added to it and showed a more realistic evil. THis did better as a horror though. Still both have something to offer. Glad to have the box set.
