I thank God for Mercy Ministries I went through the program and I love my life now! if I hadn't gone through the program I would be probably would have commited sucide
I just thank God that my relationship with Him has healed and that i am able to relate to more experiences of other people so that one day maybe i can walk alongside them as Jesus has walked alongside me during the whole experience.
I am a graduate/former resident of Mercy Australia and had i not had the experience first hand, i would be saying all the things all of you have said below, which is why i do not judge you for a moment. Things are not always so black and white, and the whole Mercy thing is many shades of grey.
I am saying that things did happen, but to make personal judgments against either the staff members who inflicted it, or certain leadership principles and unaccountabilities that allowed for it, or the motives of the residents who suffered for it and chose to speak out, is wrong because it is just not as simple as black and white. The fact is that things happened that should not have happened and to the best of my knowledge the staff are trying to better the program with the feedback.
Most of the former residents i am still in contact with were grieved that the program here had shut down a few weeks ago because even though there were some major flaws, they still saw the potential for it to be an even more amazing program and to be a real God answer for girls in need.
My advice is to not even listen to the ppl who try and slam MM. Because they obviously are not Christians and they just want to turn ppl away. And if they don't know God, which is Truth, then they have no truth in them. So why should you believe anything they say? I love MM and I love the work they are doing for women in America. God bless you, MM.
is it true about all the junk that mercy ministries performed those exorcisms and stuff! that breaks my heart. i thought they were such a great ministry!
BarlowGirl ROCKS. I wish WISH WISH I could have been able to go their concert to raise money for MM here in Bakersfield (but I was in the middle of moving)! Praise God for BG and MM!

It's just amazing how many young women's lives have been transformed because of Mercy Ministries. It's when people like Barlow Girl are willing to come out and admit that they have struggled to...and it's nothing to be ashamed of...more girls can feel confident in asking for help. Mercy just tells these girls the truth and helps them walk it out.
What Mercy Ministries is doing is amazing! So glad to see Barlow Girl teaming up with them to help get the word out about Mercy and help bring hope and freedom to other young women who are hurting!

I thank God for Mercy Ministries I went through the program and I love my life now! if I hadn't gone through the program I would be probably would have commited sucide
