my dad had a job as the orioles ground crew in the 80s. he said he loved the job and he would collect baseballs that they would hit while the practiced. he also said once the Orioles decided to have a free seat cushion day and the orioles were losing so the fans decided to make the game more interesting to throw the seat cushions onto the field lol.
